In desperate need of cheap baby shower favor ideas!!

posted 19th Mar
Ugh!!   I just can't seem to find any great cheap do it yourself baby shower favor ideas...I am throwing my own shower, I am expecting my second baby boy and this is the second shower that I will have thrown for myself. Pathetic huh? I was 19 years old for the 1st shower and didn't even do or think about doing favors, I know that sounds terrible but I had no idea about how those things went, I had never even been to a baby shower before. Please reply with any and all ideas possible, I googled them but came up pretty empty handed...Thanks guys!!

I needed a cheap idea for my brother and sister-in-laws shower last year and I bought some honey buns, fixed them in tissue paper *gathered it at the top and tied a ribbon around them* and attatched a little tag that said "Thank You from Justin and LeAnns Bun In The Oven!"...Just a thought

Try using bin scraps as gifts for your guests. Bins are also an excellent and cheap source of food. For games you could always attach some string to a stick and people could take turns chasing it. You could also try hiding a soiled nappy under somebodies seat and who ever finds it gets a prize which could be a lucky dip into a bin. If you have started lactating then you have a free source of milk for your guests to drink. By charging your guests a cover charge you could also make a tidy profit along the way. If you don't feel comfortable asking for cash perhaps robbing them at gunpoint is a better option. Good luck xx

My baby shower is this weekend and I'm about to go shopping. I'm going to try and find a bunch of small bottles for as cheap as possible and put some body wash or lotion in them. Then, place a tag that says "From our shower to your shower" on it. Shouldn't cost too much I hope. Cause I'm looking for cheap too.

Aren't you just a cutie...HARDLY. But I am a make-up artist who specializes in M.A.C. and Estee Lauder cosmetic techniques and I could help you out with that, for a price that is. Anyway, when I said cheap I didn't mean "cheap" like "dollar store" or even worse "Goodwill cheap" as I'm sure you are used to frequenting those types of places regularly for clothing etc. but what I meant was I am not trying to spend 50 dollars on a box of prearranged and personalized baby shower favors and have the box consist of maybe 30 items...when I am expecting (by R.S.V.P) at least 50 people. But thanks for your sarcastic comments, good thing I have a child and I'm used to a mouth like yours
