How soon is labor?

posted 18th Mar
I'm experiencing my bloody show as of this morning... (no contractions though) and it's got me a little worried. I'm not due until April 4th but... everyone says that labor is going to happen very soon now (at any second or maybe a few days). My question is for those who have had their bloody show...

When did labor set in after your bloody show??

I went into labor the day I had bloody show. I was a day overdue and scheduled to be induced the next day. My contractions weren't really doing much on their own though, so I got pitocin anyway.

I had some bloody show a month before I had my daughter and had to be induced. Bloody show does not mean anything. Its just you mp and if you not dilated to at least 3 cm it will regrow.

like 10 weeks w/ my first (i was in pre term labor) and I didn't get my show w/ my second or my third. My water broke w/ my third and she was born at 35 weeks and my second I had a c-section because of preeclampsia at 37 weeks.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Good... I feel like I have time to get myself ready now. I thought I was going into labor now or tomorrow! Phew  I know the mucus plug regrows... but I'm wondering how many more times I'm going to see this blood. It's everytime I pee. Will it be like this up until delivery or will the bleeding stop?

First of all, you are term so no worries there...

And secondly, you can experience bloody show and not go into labor....I however did
