Bloody Show

This morning I woke up... went pee... wiped...and noticed quite a bit of blood. I'm almost 38 weeks so I kinda freaked out at first. Then thought.. this must be my bloody show. Well, I go to work and pee again about an hour later. I wipe, and then theres MORE blood!!! I thought the "bloody show" came once. I've peed about 4 or so times now and every time.... theres blood (any only when I pee). For those who have had their bloody show .... does this sound normal?

Of course I called my doctor and spoke to a nurse... she said she thinks it is my bloody show.... but I'm having a hard time agreeing. Please ease my mind. 

OH YES its time to GO!!! i woke up one morning and called the doctor because that happened to me and she said that it was a good thing and that i was in labor! GO!

hmmm, my bloody show was more like a ball with mucus... you should go into the hospital just to be sure...I know that is not much help but that's the best thing you can do to ease your mind is have a professional look at it, anyone on this forum can say anything, but we can be wrong....

Awe well... thanks everyone. I'm really scarred though. I'm not having any cramps or contractions... they said once I start experiencing that then I need to go to labor and delivery. They said I could go into labor at any moment... or maybe even in a week or more. So... I'm not going to the hospitol yet... but I have major butterflies. Shes gotta stay in until after the 27th!! I hope I make it!!

Have you been checked lately? I got checked yesterday and bleed for awhile after...kinda irritate my cervix.

I was checked last friday. I'll be checked again this friday. It wasn't irritation.. and I haven't had sex since sunday morning. It's not spotting..

i jsut think if its NOT spotting then you should go in. if you are in labor an bleeding you can get an infection

Apart of me is still confused about this "bloody show".... but the nurse said it's fine and not to go unless I'm having contractions/cramping. How long will the bloody showcontinue? Do you only see it once and then it goes away??

that is currently happening to me! hahaha its been like that for like 2-3 days i gave up caring lol in fact i think im having contractions again lol...

Lol... well... today there is no more blood for me. I'm just confused now. Some people only see it once and some women's continue. Mine was a 24 hour show I guess... lol.
