No problem! I drank pepsi like crazy before I got preggo. I cut down slowly and since I don't like diet pepsi I switched to diet lemon lime. Its hard to quit something like that, I still have reg pepsi once a month or so.

That is how my brother and Mike were with the Mt.Dew....but my brother stopped drinking it because it was causing ulcers in his stomach and he was always throwing up. Once he stopped he went through about two weeks of withdrawal and then he never had another episode with the ulcers. I personally think there is something in some pops that cause you to become addicted. It is so sad how America is sometimes with products.

It's VERY hard   But like you said..it's good to treat yourself to the good stuff every now and then. if you don't..u will make yourself crazy.

My food diary for yesterday. I'll try not to forget today's later tonight, once I have my 11pm snack.

Breakfast: 3 slices french toast w/butter and syrup, 2 strips bacon, coffee w/non-dairy creamer.
Snack: A few bites of apple oatmeal crisp
Lunch: 1 grilled American and Swiss cheese sandwich w/ bowl of tomato soup, iced tea.
Snack: A couple more bites of apple oatmeal crisp
Dinner: Half a bbq chicken breast w/ 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, iced tea.
Snack: More of that damned apple crisp! *sigh*
11pm snack: 2 scrambled eggs w/1 tsp mayo and 2 slices toast w/butter, water.
*I had serious disease activity starting around 3am and letting up finally after lunch today, so I haven't absorbed much of what I ate after dinner last night. So this really is kinda pointless right now. Grrrr...

I've been bad today... I had McDonalds for breakfast. 2 sausage burritos, 1 hashbrown, and a kids sized orange juice. and then for lunch I had mikkey D's again... A bacon ranch sandwich, medium fries, and a few sips of dr. pepper... =[

naughty girl! I had 2 bananas for breakfast
grilled cheese and chips and dip for lunch and
petes pride tenderloins for supper, no bread no side dishes.

Well, breakfast was two pieces of cinnamon toast and a small glass of milk
Lunch was two hotdogs on bread, half a banana, a couple cubes of cheese and ice water
snack two cheetos and a small handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Dinner will be a lot of meat loaf , mashed potatoes and green beans with milk
snack...if I make them on time will be either peanut butter cookies or chocolate chip muffin
OOPS ...i forgot that i also had a reeses peanut butter square!

That's alright..don't feel bad. It's so tempting sometimes u just can't help it.

Here's my thing...I am ok without junk food now. It took a while but i am getting use to it and it doesn't bother me to do without much anymore. But now I am worried that I'm not eating enough calories which will also not help me lose weight.

Today I have had a bowl of cornflakes, with two small spoons full of sugar, a cup of 2% milk. (for breakfast)
For lunch, I had 3 pieces of turkey meat from the deli on2 slices of white bread, a pack of light mayo and mustard.
For a snack..had almost a cup of mint ice cream. Wouldn't have..but once again my husbands being a jerk and bringing home temptations.
And I'm fixing to have another sandwich with same thing on it that i had for lunch b/c the girls are gone to grandmas and I don't have to cook tonight.

Soooo, I'm worried that I'm either eating too many calories or not enough. My recommended (sp?) is around 1550 cal. a day. It's so hard to measure food!

Alright..going to do the dreaded workout before I can watch american idol. Bye ladies!

Where is everyone??

I just worked out on the elliptical. I use to be able to do an hour at a time on the thing..but now I can only do 25-30 minutes before I feel like I am going to pass out. Why is that happening? I should be use to the thing by now since I've been working out on it so much. But I get really dizzy and feel really sick to my stomach after about 20 minutes. I don't know what's going on.

And, I have been working my ass off..and really watching my calories this week. I am still at 215   Why am I not losing weight more quickly? I only lost 2 lbs in the past 3 weeks. What is going on???? Argh i am soo damned frustrated!

I am really late but I am a December mommy too...

175 prepregnancy.
250 @ 39 weeks.
204 now.
130 is my goal.

I have yet to eat anything today. I really dont want to because I was bad yesterday.

Hi there!! aw hun u have to eat. If you don't..it really doesn't help u in losing weight b/c if you do, as soon as you start eating again..u gain it all back. Don't worry about the bad days. I have had plenty. it's so frustrating!!

Tabitha....when you work out sometimes you don't lose weight because you are gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat...so keep that in mind...once you keep at it, your muscle mass will start to burn up the stored fat for energy while working out.

Nicole...when you don't eat anything...you send signals to your body that the next time you eat it needs to hoard it all because it doesn't know when it will get refueled.
