It does not work. As a test, I searched for eugenics. The search function returned ONE hit on forum.baby-gaga.com which I know for a fact is false.

This isn't a small problem that is easy to overlook. This NEEDS fixing. I know you guys got your hands full with Max, but please, I beg you, fix it, fix it fix it!

I thought it was me being inept.    

The search function is broken -- the google search only really works for posts that are older than a week or so, Google's search spiders just cannot gobble up the information fast enough on baby-gaga.com -- we are now getting over 15,000 posts a day, so the amount of data is just getting larger and larger (we now have over 1GB of textual data from the forums to search through).

The "old" search function from the old forum would just croak and die under the load. I am looking for new solutions to the search problem, and there is one system that I think will be able to scale with us that I am looking into. Otherwise, I could also limit the search to within a manageable timespan.
