The movie itself is...bleh..pretty repetitive. anywayyy the girl's name is Cattleya.. I didn't think much of it but my boyfriend seemed to REALLY like it, it's a rare, beautiful flower. I kinda like it now, NOT the spelling. they pronounce Cat-uh-leeah <--- if that makes any sense lol and when the say it in spanish it's something like Catta-leyah i like it either way i think it's different.. What do you guys think if the spelling were different. and what would be nicer ways to spell it.
so it doesnt sound or look like CATTLE -__-
Thankkks

I like how its said in Spanish. that's how we'd say it if it were my daughters name.

I'm not sure...but I would try to avoid it looking like the salad dressing too!

I love this name! I saw the movie and I decided that if I ever have a daughter this is what I am going to name her.
I dont like the spelling, however, so I would spell it Katalia instead of cattleya.. And of course it would be said with a spanish accent.

Hi all- I realize this is an older thread, I just came upon it. Well, my father had the great idea of naming me cattleya- but he changed the spelling to "Catleah". Which I think is lovely, of course, it is my name so I am biased.
