February 08 Mommies & Babies..

Hello All February Mommies & Babies!

My name is Ashley and Im 20 years young.
My daughter is Aleeyah Brooke Atkins.born February 2nd 2008 at 3:19 pm weighing 6lbs 8 oz 19 inches long.
My doctor didnt have an acurate due date.But when he did ultrasounds he keep gettin January 31st 2008.& then on January 4th it changed to February 8th.then he wanted to go with February 3rd.

On February 2nd 2008 at 1:30 am I decided to take 3 teaspoons of Castor Oil with a lil bitt of coke cola.Around 2 am i started having terrible belly pains.
i waited about 2 hours to go to the hospital.So when I got there they checked me in.
The nurse checked me and said I was a 2-3 dialated and 90% effaced.I was in so much pain they started me on some pain meds thru an iv.It wasnt working.So they gave me something to help me sleep.I slept on and off from 430 am til about 1100 am the nurse came in and said Dr Price said we are inducing your labor today.but she said a doctor term.so i was like what do you mean?so she is like your having a baby today.they started me on pitocin & gave me more pain medicine.my dr came and broke my water bag & i immediately got my epi  .
By 2 pm I was at 10 cm & they wanted me to push.It was hard cause i was tryna stay awake & she was in what they call a transverse position.she was face up.so i was pushing and trying to keep my eyes open at the same time.So finally at 3:19 pm Aleeyah Brooke Atkins came out smiling.She didnt cry or anything.they had to mess with her to get her to cry lol.

























Now She is 1 month 1 week & 3 days old .
She was last weighed on March 4th 08 weighing 9 lbs & 12 oz.

i wouldnt have mentioned taking castor oil.. your gonna get e jumped for that....big time on this site...... castor oil+bgg mommas= bad outcome!!..... glad shes healthy and she looks adorable!!

congrads! I was about 5-6 days over due with mine... I dont know if I count as a feb mummy now... lol I had mine in march on the 1st!

oh and yes... big bad idea bout mentioning castor oil!! lol but eh... you did wat you had to do right!!!!!!!! =P

yeah i dont care wat they say though.its my body & my daughter is healthy so it doesnt bother me.

I know that's right mommy. but congrates and She Is beautiful
