Sparkpeople diets?

I joined spark people and today is my second day. I did good yesterday. I stayed at 1700 calories, which is in my range. But today was bad. I topped off at 1778. Now my daily range is 1500-1850, so I'm still in my daily range. But I figured if I could stay at the lower range (I tried doing 1600 calories a day and still felt hungry so I bumped myself up to 1700). I guess I am just venting because I went over what I wanted as my daily intake. But its still good that I stayed in the Sparkpeople daily range, right? After all its only the second day and I know I won't change my diet overnight... but I just feel like I let myself down today.

i used sparkpeople and there were days I screwed up and went WAY over my range but I went from 212 to 170 using them. Then my hubby and I got seperated and I went down to 155on my own. Gotta love stress!
I think it will be fine! If I went over I just exercised more to make up for it. Good Luck! I am going to use them after I have this baby too!

So basically its ok as long as I still stay within my 1500-1850 calorie range? I'd like to get down to 135. Basically just get rid of the baby fat stomach, everywhere else I am happy with.

yeah I think it is fine! Like you said it is only day 2. I understand it takes a bit to get used to staying on a diet.
I didn't even get to enjoy my weightloss! As soon as hubby and I got back together-BAM! I was pregnant.
