Do you use weights? Id try and build up some muscle it'll eat the fat and help you more. Or yea something like crossfire would be great too! A body needs more then cardio. If you only do cardio it makes a skinny fat person that's what the trainers at my gym say anyways and I agree cause I've been skinny fat before at 130lbs. Something like chalean extreme would be good plus you can download it free! And then do insanity for cardio. I'm not a fan of insanity really. Don't get me wrong it does help you lose BUT if you only do that it Burns up muscle. My sister inlaw was inshape like crazy, did that and lost all her butt her legs and arms got intoned and she had to start over again to build it back up. To Me id rather spend my 60minutes to an hour toning cause it hleps you keep the weight off better in the long run anyway. But I do still recommended cardio if you do them back to back ALWAYS do cardio last helps you perform better. What all kinds of workouts did you do to lose the weight so far? Are you taking fish oils and vitamins? How about a preworkout sup?

Also have you checked if you've lost inches? Try that for a month and if your not then try it BUT I would bet money you are! And if you are then your not at a plateau. Maybe scale wise but not fat loss wise. You'd be shocked at how many people get upset cause they think they airnt making progress but are (points to self... or my old self lol) also what protein do you use? The best as far as carbs and sugar vs protein. That I've came across is opptimum nutrition. 24grams protein 1gram Carb and one gram sugar its like 50 bucks for 5lbs of it. I'm buying it when I run out of my other two

I try not to eat anything after 8:00, but if I do it's lightly oiled popped popcorn. It helps a lot

Oh well meal three for me is lunch maybe I should have said that they are numbered. 1-5 on my plan. I stay away from corn of all types it has no nutritional value and makes it harder to lose weight BUT if your craving chips id definitely pick popcorn over them

Yeah I figured you had 5-6 meals a day. I was just offerring my own advice when it comes to restrictions. I eat cottage cheese most afternoons around 3:00 (it's replaced my coffee/dark chocolate snack). The only time I try not to eat anything is late, but I will never say no to popcorn!

Popcorn is a cheat meal for the plan I got the suggest if you cheat "cheat" as healthy as you can and only coroner meal a week. Strict but not at the same time. What kinda coffee where you drinking? Maybe I can offer you one of the coffee recipes from the plan. They sound good but I don't drink coffee. Cause I'm just not a fan of the taste.

Just a cup of coffee with splenda and soy milk, nothing fancy or terrible. It was my afternoon pick-me-up

HAHAHA I do something similar with Livi. every Saturday we swim for a least an hour and she looks forward to it. But she's always trying to get an extra day out of me. But I'm teaching her if she's nto a good girl through out the week she can't swim on Saturday.

Yeah next week will be nuts once she seems me starting to clean, do laundry and pack LOL

I have been doing the 30DS and have finally moved up to the second level but I am so sore after my workouts in the afternoon I couldn't bear to level 2 tonight :} I took an advil, got some BioFreeze and a huge cup of water. Hopefully tomorrow morning I will feel better!

I must say that moving to my new department has been a great motivator to work out. Two of my co-workers have a "GSC" club (Gew Swoll Crew) so I got around 5 times a week with them at lunch time. I make the most of my 45 minutes and they are so encouraging a supportive, I love them!

It's great to hear your new department is working out for you. As for 30 DS, level two is a bitch! I only lasted like 2 days. Don't give up, you're doing great!

First day of training one-on-one with my trainer. All I can say is WOW. I had no idea I was so weak. I really don't want to disappoint him, so I'll just keep trying as hard as I can.

*Must eliminate mental blocks!*

Hi Ladies i came upon this thread & I love the idea of a lifestyle change. Dieting has never worked for me. Like many of u i'm weighing more than i ever have &its starting to effect me. I just recently had my 2nd son May 5th &with this pregnancy i olny gained 15 pounds. WOOHOO! I am very proud of myself & I did lose all the weight and even a few extra pounds. But now im beginning to be so unhappy with my body its time for a change.

A lil about me my name is Serena I'm 19, Single. I have two Handsome little men Levi who will be two July 8th & Roman who will be two months on the 5th. I'm currently a SAHM but starting in August i will be going back to school for my Diploma. Most of my life ive been a lil on the heavier side & most of the time its hard to except my body. Right now im weighing 204   i'm 4'11. I don't think i'm fat im thick & i'm proud to be thick i just want to eat healthier, get into shape & be a role model to my little men. &if I lose a few pounds in the process, awesome!

Any suggestions or tips on what i could do to start a healthier lifestyle?
Also i'm usually the cook around the house we rarely go out to eat. If anyone know's of some yummy healthy recipes please share

i am not great with advise... lol but what i did to start was to count my calories. i didn't really cut anything out of my diet while doing so though. once i started counting calories i learned so much about food. the first couple weeks was hell because i hadn't really changed my eating habits, so i was eating a small amount of high calorie foods so i was hungry allll the time.

i slowly found other healthy alternatives to the stuff i was eating that was also lower in calories. that obviously allowed me to eat more. after a few more weeks i was really good about making food choices and pretty soon i felt like i was eating allll dy and was still not reaching my calorie goal because i was eating pretty much "clean."
