Really? I didn't know that. Well I definitely plan to refuse at this point. I don't know how long I will delay them I am really hoping that I start to make progress on my own by my due date. That will buy me some time. Honestly I am praying that things start up and move quickly so I can avoid some of this mess!

Also, I wouldn't encourage an episiotomy. In my experience & research it's better to tear naturally then to get the epi. Natural tears will heal faster & an epi encourages more tearing because the skin is already broken.

I wish it had taken 8 months. My husband was like " that's awesome, we know your body works well and then you can start keeping track so when we are ready to try again you know what is going on"

Mel! My best friend is due the day after you and went to the doc today they told her she is measuring 41 weeks so she had to go for a growth ultrasound and they told her the baby is measuring 9 lbs 7 oz!! She has to go back on friday to discuss her options..

These doctors and their estimates....they are just that! I hope she doesn't let them pressure her...it really sucks to feel forced into such a major decision!
