Honestly, it's like pubes in a big circle around my belly button. It's lovely. Really.

Good thing my husband pays 0 attention to these things... and he didn't notice that I forgot to shave one leg... haha (I never would have forgotten this three months ago- I'm very methodical in the shower!)

yea, with my daughter mine was a happy trail. It looked like a man's stomach....it was weird! It will go away hunn! One of the wonderful joys of pregnancy! I swear my husband ONLY touches my legs when I need to shave. How does it always work out that way?? Then he looks at me, like come on, shave your legs already!

My husband does that to me sometimes... touches my legs, gets that innocent look on his face... "when did you shave last?"

Me: well.. you haven't done anything in a week. I'll shave when you do.

Veronica, I failed the 1st glucose test with DS and then passed the 3 hour one so it doesn't automatically mean that you've got GD. Just make sure to bring a book or your ipod or something with you when you go, 3 hours is a long time to just sit and do nothing!

As for me, I wasn't able to get my appt earlier since the dr doesn't work Mondays (and I didn't want to go to the other dr in the practice) so next appt won't be until the 6th and u/s will be sometime after that (dumb dr won't even let me schedule it until AFTER that appt  ) DH and I are going to get a 4D u/s done at this place called Baby's Debut http://www.babysdebut3d4dultrasound.com/ so maybe I can convince him to do that for our anniversary at the end of the month...I just can't WAIT until the middle of June to find out!

I've been really tired, but I think it's more b/c of all the fresh air we've been getting now that the weather is getting nice. My feet are KILLING me today but we've been out and about for the past 6 hours and I'm not used to being on my feet that long. I'd better get used to it tho, the job I've got an interview for Monday morning requires me to do a LOT of walking, guess it'll be a good way to get my exercise in, huh?

We went to some rummage sales today and I got a bassinette which I really wanted (not the exact one I wanted, but it'll be ok I guess). Now the biggest thing I need (ok, really want) is a double stroller but if I end up having a shower that's hopefully what my aunts will go in on for my gift so it's not too terrible

Thanks for the support! I talked with my mom about it and got some reassurance from her so that helped. And I guess there isn't much I can do about it anyway so no use stressing too much!

Zean- I was wondering since your getting one of the 4D u/s, about how much is it going to cost, if you don't mind my asking? I have been thinking about doing one, but I have to find a place near by that does it.

Veronica- they've got a variety of packages/prices but the one we're going to do is going to cost $175 and you get a 20 min u/s, 2 of the 2D b/w pics, 4 of the colored 3D/4D pics AND a DVD of the entire u/s session to keep. That one you've got to be at least 24 weeks to doso that's a while from now(I'll be 16 weeks on Tuesday). DH and I did that with DS, I just don't remember it being that expensive! The cheapest package they've got is $75 and you get a 10-15 min session and 2 of the b/w pics. That one you can do at 18 weeks so we could do that for our anniversary but I really want the DVD of it too and I doubt DH would go for spending $250 on ultrasounds (but maybe I can con MIL into paying for part of the big one if we get her a copy of the u/s, LOL!)

OH! I just saw the other package they've got and it's less than it would be if I'd do the two separate sessions ($245) and you get
  • 30 minute 3D/4D Ultrasound Session (ACTUAL SCAN TIME) Gender Determination upon Request 2 – 2D Black and White Prints 6 – 3D Colored Prints Unedited DVD of your Entire Session set to Lullabye Music so you can relive yoursession again and again! Personalized Webpage of Mom, Dad, & Baby

  • Maybe I can convince him to do that, the 1st u/s is at 16 weeks and the 2nd at 26 weeks. I TOTALLY want to do this!!!

Some of that does sound expensive but you definatly get a whole lot! I like the idea of conning the MIL, it would definatly be cheaper!!LOL I did some web searches and the closest places that do it hereare atleast an hour away and the cheapest prices are almost double what yours are!!!  But since most of them are close to D.C. I guess I should have expected that. If I were to pick one of the packages you have I would difinatly go with the one that does the DVD to Lullabye music, it sounds priceless! Good luck getting DH in to it!

DS just cracked me up when I was putting him to bed. I said, "Say goodnight momma" and he said it, then I said "say goodnight daddy" and he did it, then I said "say goodnight brother" and he did and then I said "say goodnight sister" and he said "NO". Hmmm, think he wants a brother?! LOL! He's almost 3

    Hi ladies! Checking in...

For everyone who can't wait to get their u/s done...my next "belly check" appt isn't till June 3rd, and at that appt I will be able to schedule my u/s for four weeks later. So....I won't be finding out the sex till the first part of July! I will be over 20 weeks along at that point, so I feel your pain too! I don't want to wait that long!!

I was soooooo overly tired and cranky today, that I had Evan lay down in my bed and we BOTH took a nap! Uhh...it was about THREE HOURS! Felt glorious, though! Then, since I knew he would not be tired enough at bedtime, we took a walk after dinner with DH, and then Evan and I walked down to the neighbor's house (super close "like family" friends that I grew up with) and visited till almost 9:00! I got to talk with the grownups, and he got to play with the kids! It was a nice evening.

Hope you all are feeling good tonight...

    TOO CUTE!

Evan tells me (and anyone who asks about the baby in my belly) that the baby is bringing him a green car. I am gonna have to pack a green matchbox car in my hospital bag! Sorry if I have already said this... you know, baby brain leaves you with no memory!!

Kelly, that's too funny! When I ask DS where the baby is, he'll lift up my shirt and call it "boofwy" (butterfly) since I've still got my butterfly belly ring in. This age for kids is too funny, DS is always cracking me up, especially when he's singing along with his favorite DVDs
