I like Eudora and Pandora. I like -Dora names as well.

Lucia is a name I considered so I like that one too.

We're the opposite. I can find boy names really easily, but I'm struggling with girls. We have Phaedra, Niamh, Evadne, Ariadne, Saoirse and Caspia. I can't decide on any of them though.
We felt the same way with Leon, so we now have Leonidas, with the NN Leon.

I had Ana Lucia on my list for the longest time, but it reminded everyone of Lost.
I think Pandora is adorable, but I'm not sure DH will feel the same.

I've never seen Lost so I don't know the reason it would remind someone of that.

And I really like Pandora.

I've seen the first season, and I don't recall the name from that.
Me too. Can you think of any MN's?

I love Evadne, Ariadne and Caspia! So pretty. Our top girl names are Elodie and Eliza but we have a huge list that we love.

Thanks!
It'll be Evadne Caoimhe Lucille, Ariadne Ingrid Odette or Caspia Liadin Ingrid.
I love Eliza.

Pretty much. I'm not super-pleased with it (originally being a male name, having it be so close to my son's name, and being difficult to pronounce, esp for Californians) but it will probably be Marin Sophia.

My husband is really set on it though and since he has been the only one to impregnant me after I have gone through endometriosis surgery, a failed attempt at IVF with my ex, and being pretty much being told at age 29 that I would never conceive, I totally let him run with this one. Especially since all 3 kids have names that come from my side of the family and none from his!

It will be pronounce "MARE-in" and not "Mah-RIN" which she will be correcting her whole life, I am sure. But since our last name is constantly mispronounced I guess it's not that big of deal.

I like it. I prefer the Maren spelling, but it's not a huge deal - it's pretty.

Thanks. I do like that (as of now) it's not popular. Hated that my son Mason got stuck with a name that exploded in popularity just a few years after his birth. Growing up with the moniker Jennifer has really soured me on popular names.

So I guess right now DH is really loving Atlas and Ares. I think boy are okay. Out of his list I like Caspian. I kind of like the sound of Caspian Atlas.

I HIGHLY doubt Maren will over make top ten or even top 25 - I doubt if it will come close. It doesn't have that broad appeal that a top 10 name has. It sounds chic and modern but it's not something that people all across the board are going to find appealing, I think you should be fine.
