How does everyone feel about Rosemary? At first I could only think of weird movie references (Rosemary's Baby, Shallow Hal) but my DH is the one who suggested it, and his thought behind it was a connection to the plant/herb. It's one of our favorite cooking herbs (or aromas in general), and we have both been leaning towards something with a nature connection but not TOO hippy-dippy. This seems perfect, since it is a very old-fashioned name but also a plant.

Yeah Patton is usually a good kid, he has been nonstop teething for a while now but he just got his last molar (until 2) in so I think he is going to be a lot happier.

It's a name I just can't get on board with. It's not bad, but I don't like any of the Rose names.

okay.. I think this chick might be in this thread and I'm not trying to start drama but am I the only one that pronounced this name like this when you first read it? I think its because I see the Ly sounding like Sy from how I say Sylas. My brain doesn't process it as Lillian.

I don't think she's in here. She is in CDRB, and she's super sweet. I just try to ignore the misspelling because I like her, lol (and the misspelling of the one baking, I think it's Scarlytt?).

after I posted I realized it was probably Lillian but the lack of the second "L"and the "Y" really threw me off. I honestly didnt assume it was made up.. I was expecting it be like a foreign name or something that I'd never heard before. but turns out not. lol

And no - no "official"nanmes picked out. James made the idiotic comment after the doctors appointment yesterday "I'm really happy we're getting a girl, but now I get to deal with you naming it" - sorry you have crappy taste, dude. I don't think he's overly upset about it, honestly. I'm still stuck on Cordelia and I know he doesn't hate it, I think I am going to make a small list and have him pick from it.
