Quoting {tamz}:" What do you ladies think of the name Alden? Alden Parker (last name is an L) DH is still pretty firm on Nolan but I'm trying to sweet talk him into Alden if we ever have a boy!"
I don't like it. For me, it's too similar to Aiden and I think it would get mistaken for it a lot so I can't dig it. I love Nolan though.

It's similar to the aiden crap and I think people would just assume when they glance at it that it's Aiden

ugh I didn't even think about that. Thanks Ladies.
Totally sucks cause that's my ancestors surname, the ones who came off the Mayflower. I thought it would be nice to put it back into my Family tree somehow. Grr stupid trendy names.

It's not bad
We have a Maximus
and he likes to Hulk smash all his smurf so he lives up to his name.
Little girl in my class has a brother names Augustus.

After a full day of contemplating all our current name options, it's becoming pretty clear that Charlotte is the leader by a large margin. So, now it is coming down to middle name decisions. We were initially considering family names (Rose and Jean mostly) but neither of those really do it for us, and they are both common filler names. SO, now we are moving towards names that balance our traditional, old-world side - represented by Charlotte - with our hippy/nature-loving/intellectual side. So, I need ideas for middle names that represent those aspects well. Think Latin/Roman/Greek names, literary names, or Nature-inspired names.
Oh, and right now my favorite is Charlotte Autumn. Also, I am finding that M names and A names sound the nicest to me off of the "T" sound at the end of Charlotte, but other options are certainly possible

This is my second time being pregnant, unfortunately I miscarried the first time. Its very early I know, but I can't help but be excited again, my ultrasound is the first week of February and I hope things are well this time around! I'm thinking of Eva for a girl and Evan if its a boy, I also like Mary, but don't know what to put with it. Not firm on any middle names yet, but Joseph is a possibility. My husband is excited too

Congratulations on the baby! I'm sorry for your loss. Eva and Evan are good! Evangeline is a favorite of mine. Eva Josephine and Evan Joseph

Welcome, and good luck on your pregnancy. My son is Evan.
And I like Eva, but like Evangeline better.

So my uncle (who I sometimes just call my cousin 'cause he's 2 years younger than me & it confuses people) named his baby Luna Valentina Morgain P. I'm suddenly seeing Luna pop up EVERYWHERE. What's up with Luna suddenly becoming popular? Was it used in pop culture recently?
On a side note, it's pretty cool 'cause Luna means "moon" and Alba means "sunrise".
