My oldest is Jacob and it's always been on the top baby names list, but it seems like we meet younger Jacobs all the time now! Back when I named him, I had only met adults named Jacob.

I think it's the B ending.....my sons name is Caleb and I don't really care for it and i think part of it is the B. Their both perfectly great names, I just can't love them, it's weird. Same with Charlotte. Everyone seems to love Charlotte and I can't...I want to because it fits my style perfectly and I always suggest it to people, but I can't really like it at all.

It was number one for one year and dropped off. The only name to have ever done that in the US.

I noticed it was still number 3 for 2011, but I think it will continue to drop, I just haven't seen it around or mentioned nearly as much as I used to. Same with Hannah....

It was! It was awesome. I went to put him to bed and they were both in his bed and took up most of it so I just snuck him in behind them and he rolled right over and cuddled them. That fluffy one is his favorite, they're BEST buds lol

Lol awwww! My cats love cuddling the kids, too - babies are cuddly, who could blame them? Lol, besides, if they get annoyed, they will just jump out.

Dude, my little black cat has decided he is going to snuggle my belly all the time right now, it's actually quite annoying, lol. He probably thought he was his kitten! Cats can be like that, I've noticed, I don't think people give them enough credit as pets for babies. (pets around babies?)

Jack was OBSESSED with laying on my tummy every night, and it never ended. He'll rub so hard on Rory sitting on the floor he'll knock him over lol. Now he's doing it with this baby. Good grief... My kids are going to be mauled by Jack.. Brings new meaning to Jack Jack attack.
