Oh and Dorothy Eliza is our back up girl name set in the event we ever have 2 more girls but DH and I fight so bad over girl names and these were the only 2 that we could decide on. He wont even talk about girl names with me anymore and we only plan on having 2 more kids so those are girl sets lol

I'm die hard over the name Winifred and Rosmarie and he loathes them

Rosemarie is on my long list. I think it is stunning. And I would kill to meet a baby girl named Dorothy. Dorothy Eliza/Eliza Dorothy would be fantastic!

Yes! I'd love to use Dorothy before Elowen but DH doesnt love it as much.... The only girl name he truly loves is Lyric  

But back to Dorothy I think it's beautiful and I think the NN Dot is like the cutest NN on the planet and it melts my heart lol

I also always thought it was ridiculous that they rarely go by their names when ruling. Like Queen Victoria's real name was Alexandrina, Elizabeth II's father was named Albert, but when by King George. It kind of defeats the purpose of having their own name if people aren't going to use it.

I have a cousin who named his daughter Lyric N'Harmony. No joke. Lmao.

When I think of Dorothy, I think of the wizard of Oz (can't wait for the James Franco movie to come out), Dorothy Dandridge and Dorothy Stratten.

When they become monarch they chose a name they wish to be known as, so they're in essence saying "My name is Albert but henceforth as monarch and ruler I will be King George."

I love multiple middles and if you name your child to honor someone you could use the middle to honor another person so it could have purpose. My children's middle names have the purpose of satisfying my need to use all the names I fell in love with
