Need help, Freaking out!

HI, I just wanted to see if anyone else is going through what i am. I just had my 20 week ultrasound on wednesday and the doctors office called me back today and told me that they want to redo the ultrasound b/c of the amniotic fluid level could be low. The receptionist said i shouldn't worry yet but of course i am. She said that she doesn't know if they couldn't see it to measure it or it was low. Has anyone else experienced this b/c i read about it online and it happening this early in the pregnancy can mean a possibility for birth defects and other major issues. Help Please!!!

I'd be freaking out too... keep us informed! U may have caught it early enough the Dr. might be able to do something.. I've never heard of such a thing.. Good Luck I'll pray it will be ok

I never dealt with that but make sure you drink LOTS and LOTS of water! My doctor told me drinking water every day helps keep up with the amniotic fluid.

Yeah, I'm trying not to get myself too upset and worried b/c it's not good for the baby but i just didn't know if anyone else has experienced this. Thank you for the prayers.

One of my friends is pregnant with twins and is due in July. One of her babies has very little fluid around it but the other one is just fine. All I know about her situation is shes off work right now and they're keeping a close eye on the baby with the low fluid. Good luck! I hope everything turns out ok
