Need help with a quote for obituary/funeral

after many months of suffereing, my FIL passed away in his sleep this morning. I am trying to help my MIL with the obituary and i am looking for a good quote to use. My MIL and FIl were devout Jevoahs Witnesses so i if there is a verse or something that would be great (i would ask my MIL, but she is in no condition right now to help), if not any good sympathy quote will do

I think the one you have sounds good. just add.

My BIL is one, but I don't think he could help.

I will send you a few when I when I get home. I know Revalation 21:3-4 is great. I can type it out when I'm not on my phone. I can look up some things on my watchtower library. Feel free to pm and pt me. I will get some then. I hope you feel better soon. I know he isn't suffering now and that's good. It will be like a short nap for him until he sees the resurrection. Jehovah will always remember him and his faith.

Sorry it took so long, I was out and had to fix dinner. Since you said he suffered for a while I think Revelation 21:4 would be good, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Then about resurrection
John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."

Then one for encouraging his wife:
Psalms 18:2 "Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me. My God is my rock. I shall take refuge in him, My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height."

I think too if she listens to the vocal renditions of the Kingdom Melodies she may feel better too. It's helped me a lot when I'm down.
