Quoting angeljenn:" They can't refuse to take out your implant because ur bipolar. It's against the law. She can't even order ... [snip!] ... you to see a shrink. I dunno about st. johns wort and the implant, but what I do know, is what ur doc is doing is illegal."
Quoting Shawni ♥:" well smurf me side ways that sucks"
Quoting anuh:" Its not that she refused because I'm bi polar, she said she doesn't want to remove it until I'm ... [snip!] ... the implant. I just wanted to have been able to start to try to concieve already, im tired of this waiiitttinggggggggggggg."
Quoting Sabrina Slater:" ok first of all she cannot refuse go to a different doc they will do it. Secondly most of the meds given ... [snip!] ... seriously bad ways. Make sure you do some research before you let them give you anything if you are planning pregnancy soon."
Quoting anuh:" Yeah thats my whole point. I'm on seroquel xr 300mg and my body is addictied to it, if i do not take ... [snip!] ... I do not want my unborn child getting this drug AT ALLLLLLL. I want to be off alll my meds throughtout my pregnancy"Yes I know what seroquel is and it is a very strong medication. You do need a change in meds because that one will affect the baby. There are some meds that will be less risky to take. When they suggest a med do some research read what it can do to a baby. I have sleep issues associated with night anxiety and they gave me ativan but I cannot take that while pregnant. So they give me Phenegan for nausea because it makes you sleepy and benedryl and it helps not like ativan but helps. The pain we must go through for baby is worth it ;)
Quoting anuh:" Since the damn doctor decided I need to be regularly seeing my Psychiatrist before she will take out ... [snip!] ... your ability to ovulate, Im assuming the st johns wort will change that and I will start ovulating, I guess we will Seee! "
