To the OP: how old is your baby? If she is getting her shots, I'm guessing 2 months? And if for 2 months she's been puking, it may not be as bad as you think. 2 months is a long time for a baby to go without proper nutrition, and especially if she was in the NICU someone would have noticed that she was not digesting her milk properly. Yes, she may need soy formula, but maybe she is just puking like babies do? For some babies it is normal to spit up frequently, and sometimes forcefully. If she is gaining weight well, then that shows that no matter how much she is throwing up, her body is still absorbing enough nutrients to sustain her. Take her to the doctor and see what he says, but try not to stress about it in between now and then. And in the mean time, take precautions to keep the milk down - like making sure she eats slowly, burping her, and letting her sit up right after finishing a meal. Good luck.

I was told breast milk is made just for the baby ment to meet his every need. If your baby is puking with everything you give him maybe the problem is not whats hes eating,but with him. You should call your babys Dr. good luck

Yes its "supose" to meet their needs BUT thats is not always the case. Some babies can not drink breast milk for different reasons mainly being lactose intolerence. Also the quality of the breast milk really relys on your diet. If you dont eat right then your milk may not be the best for the baby.

My baby had realllyyy horrible gas issues.. and i added about one scoop in his 5oz bottle.. i did that when he was 6 weeks old. i would try it.. i have never had to use milacon drop since and he is 8 months old today!!
