4 months pregnant and a miscarriage
posted 3rd Mar '08
I need help...I was 4 months pregnant and I had a miscarriage on February 29. I was told by the nurses that my son was too small for me to be 4 months...he was only 2oz. and 6in...they also told me that he stopped developing and when they told me that I keep telling myself that it was my fault. I just need some help, some encouragement from somebody that suffered a lost of a child. Im begging, somebody please help me.

oh honey, I'm so sorry. I know what you are going through. I really feel for you and if I could, I'd give you a big hug right now and let you cry on my shoulder.
Once the shock of it wears off a little, you will start to go through the process of grieving. It will be a long road, but you will get a little better every day.
I am here if you need to talk. I know what you've been through. I've had 2 losses in the past 2 1/2 months.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've never been through it, and I hope to God that I will never have to. But usually a miscarriage is natures way of preventing unhealthy babies from entering the world. Don't worry, it wasn't your fault, and just think, your little angel is in Heaven, instead of facing things in this world that he may not have been able to cope with.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I feel like anything I could say would be very trite, so just know that your baby is in heaven and perhaps it just wasn't his or her time to be here yet.I will say a prayer for you and your little one.

to tell you the upmost truth i know what your going through..me and my boyfriend Chris, just went through a miscarriage at 18 weeks in Dec. my son was born 13 hours after my water broke. My son weighed 4.8 oz, and was only 7 inches. dont worry about your baby not growing and things, thats just the normal, thing that was suppose to happen. Believe me, i know you didnt want it to happen, but thats the only things we know how to say without it getting sad, and depressing. But as my sister in law says when God wants us to have a heathly baby then he will give us the chance to carry one the whole full term. Yeah it was hard for me to deal with losing him, but i had to do it. Without seeing my son i know i wouldnt have been able to make it right now, even though he was tiny, it was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen in my life. I dont know what i would be doing right now, i have pictures of him, and momento's and things. So im here if you need somenone to talk to..

I'm so sorry...
I can tell you that it is NOT your fault... NOT, NOT, NOT your fault!!! You got it missy??
I did everything "perfect" with my pregnancy and my son still passed away..
After the sperm gets in there, you really have nothing to do with it from that point on... Obviously to take your vitamins etc... But there's nothing else you can do to help your baby develop...
You loved your baby their whole life, that is all you need to remember...
We're all here when you need to talk,
- Jess

Ok so I learned this the hard way that if you type in caps it means your yelling and alot of girls will get on your ass about that (I'm not one of those girls cause I honestly don't care how people write as long as I can read it lol) anyways you shouldn't worry because if you worry you'll stress out and thats not healthy for you or your baby, anyways when I had a miscarriage I didn't have no signs I didn't bleed and I was still have pregnancy symtoms so I had no clue till I went into my first u/s that my baby wasn't alive but from what I know that if you lack pregnancy symtoms then that can be a sign but I think that bull smurf cause alot of women lack signs of pregnancy and go on to have a healthy baby, other signs is bleeding but some women still bleed while pregnant it's actually pretty common but if your having bleeding call your doc just to make sure but your only nine weeks so if your bleeding it's common for that to happen since your so early so don't worry mama and just call your doc... I hope what I said was helpful.

i bled through the firdt 12 weeks of this pregnancy and everything is great (so far) *knocks on wood* I went in every couple of days for ultrasounds and got to see the baby at every stage of development which is pretty cool. The best thing was knowing the baby was growing and changing which kept me hopful. I think that you should go to the hospital and get checked out just in case but at least you will get the ultrasound and know whats going on. My bleeding was because there was a cyst bleeding right next to the baby..YAY that has stopped and now i am almost (tomorrow) 26 weeks....goodluck mama and hope every thing progresses great for you.
*by the way the typing in caps thing is true a lot of ladies dont like it (i dont care like the other lady said so long as i can read it it doesnt bother me )
