This is my first month using my fertile focus, is this full ferning or partial?

Is that only a section of the microscope? Sometimes the scope would show that full ferning on one side and not on the other. If you spit on it all the way and thats all you see, it is most definitely full ferning.

Yeah its like that. Huge change one day to the next. And yes. It tells you before opks so you might want to use opks as well as see when they start to correlate. GL love

that's what I was hoping to do, use the scope, wait for ferning, and then opk test (so I'm not wasting so much money on opks testing from CD 10-30 or whatever). I'm opk testing and temping this cycle with the ferning scope to get the idea, but if after a few cycles it all adds up I think I'll drop the opks.

I don't want to sound stupid but what is this that I'm looking at?

yeah so far I'm loving it, lol. We'll see if I'm singing that tune after 1 cycle, I've had AWFUL luck with my OPKs recently so I'm trying to find something else to help track my fertility. I temp and chart and all of that too, but most of that stuff only gives you an idea looking back, not a warning beforehand.

OPK was negative, but it's also way too early in the morning to test, lol. I was impatient >_<

Good luck rach, looks like you are almost at full ferning if it's not already there. I found some months the ferns would look more full than others. I have no idea why though.

Yeah since this is my first month using it I'm going to put partial on my chart and watch the next few days. If this is the fullest I get then I can change it later. Gah I hope this is right and I'm about to O. I said on another board, at this point even if I get a BFN this cycle, I'm ok with that, I just want a confirmed ovulation cycle again, I just need the hope back that Femara still works for me. Cause after Femara is injections and I'd MUCH rather not go that route if I don't have to.
