Hyperstimulation

well i saw my RE today...and she said now i have too many follies for IUI ( more than 20).... so she said i have 2 options: abort this cycle....or IVF!
of course i choose IVF.... I just cant wait till next month and have ovarian drilling again then wait a few months..... i just dont have the strength.... so tomorrow she'l give me more injections until the follies are at leas 20mml.... then we will do IVF

please ladies... i need your thoughts and prayers and babydust

Is this your first time with IVF?

yes it is.... i was given injectables this cycle to have an IUI.... but now its going to be IVF

No problem- it did work the first cycle for me. I had 5 mature follicals taken out and the doctor called me 3 days later and told me 2 of them were mature enough to be put back. I orginally had twins for 2 weeks but the one absorbed back. I'm just thankful one decided to implant.

I had to have progestrone IM for a week and then I had to use a progestrone supposititory up until I was 12 weeks along.

I do too! What point are you up to? If you don't mind my asking. I'm not familiar with IUI so i'm not sure what stage of the IVF you would be on. Sorry..

IUI is insemnation spl?? sorry cant spell it right lol
my follies are between 15-16 mml... im gonna have more injections to get them to atleast 20mml....then they'll take them out...

Ohh right. Sorry- Yeah, 20 mml is normally the size they want before they will remove them. It drove me nuts everytime I would go into the doctors and they would tell me.. "Well, Megan.. there at 18.. give yours so much more medicine and we will see you tomorrow at 8am" My follicals never seemed to want to get any bigger.. and the injection meds are expensive!! I'm sure I don't have to tell you that though. Hehe Well, good luck to you- I will keep you in my thoughts.   Take care.

Wow 20 follies!!!! Good luck, that is a great number. I had to skip an IUI cycle because I had 9.. well we ended up doing timed intercourse and didn't get pregnant. This time I had 6 that were mature and we went ahead with IUI and got preggo! I have a good feeling for you!

well only 3 i think were between 15-16 mml... but the others were smaller.... but atill the dr wont take the risk... congrats on your pregnancy i pray you have a healthy 9 months and a very healthy baby
