Late bfp, anyone?

Hi ladies,

I don't post very often on BG and mostly look at the parenting sections as I have 2 DS. I am still bfing my youngest (he is 13 months old) and I have had one pp period back in early June. I have just had a VERY unexpected & blazing bfp (2 diff tests) this AM after a bfn a week ago. I have been feeling like I was about to come on for the past 2 weeks but no blood at all, just minor cramping. Basically, I just thought that bfing was still messing with my cycle, but apparently not!
Now I am trying to work out possible dates of conception and if I figure correctly, I should be about 18 dpo or later. I guess I just need to hear some positive stories of ate bfps and successful pregnancies. We were NOT ttc but we are happy about the news nonetheless. I had to really try to get pregnant the last 2 times (and one m/c) Perhaps the surprise of the pregnancy has left me a bit wary? I am going to be calling my doc next week to schedule an early u/s but untoil then, it's a waiting game. Cheer me up ladies!
