my twins born one day over due on january 28th 2008! ben on the left was 5 lbs 15 oz and gavin was 7 lbs 5.8 oz

Amanda_mommy: Congrats! They are adorable. Mine are 4 now, but once they were around 2ish years old they started entertaining each other and things got a lot easier on my end. Twins are awesome though. Have fun with them!

i'm on the ball w/ the forum b/c i'm in pain... the end of pregnancy is making it hard for me to focus on work (back pain, weird stiffness and cramping in my crotch, bladder vanishing, you know...).

yes, it's a party being nine months pregnant... i am grateful i'm not having twins. i reckon i'd be in bed right now moaning if their were two little devils in me. heheh.

i seem to need to be around other pregnant women now that i'm suffering... it soothes me -- especially the drama.

weird, i know.

i made it to nine months with twins. but i felt pretty good. i was moving well all the way to my c-section

Yay! We got a twin sticky! So awesome!!! Thanks Mara... woo and the pain of being in the end. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't really know what the pain is, although I am experiencing a lot of pain with these little buggers and I am only 24 weeks.

So let me introduce myself. My name is Melissa, I am 23 years old, I'll be 24 at the end of the month   3-29. Hubby and I were expecting our first child in July, I found out 7-7-07 that we were expecting, but six short days later I miscarried. It was the worst time of my life, and often asked God why he took my baby from me. Soon I realized it was in his best interst to take that baby away, I didn't know why, but I realized I guess it was for a good reason, although I would of loved my child no matter what disability or what not it had. Two months after the miscarriage, we found out we were pregnant again. Just in time for hubbys bday. So I suprised him with pregnancy test for his birthday   . At my 6wk 1 day ultrasound, we discovered it was Twins... It was the craziest thing, and I remember that day as if it were yesterday. Twins don't run on either side of our families, we were just staring at the ultrasound images in amazment! There were tons of classic moments when we told every family member   They were shocked, but excited. At 11wks 1 day ultrasound we seen two little babies, with two little heart beats. At 19 weeks we found out we were expecting a boy and a girl. At 20 weeks we had yet another ultrasound because they thought my son had dilated kidneys, but it turns out that he's alright  . Then at 23 weeks we had another ultrasound and they are weighing 1.5lbs and 1.4lbs... and my belly was measuring 31 weeks already! We get to see them in 3D next weekend, I can't wait ;)

I am so glad that we have this sticky. I love talking to twin mommies

mine are freaternal witch is wierd because my family has no twins too. but it has to start some place, good luck hope yours goes as well as mine. i think its so funny i went a day over due

That is crazy!!!!!!     What was your belly measuring by time you were at the end? I think it's so crazy mine is already measuring 31 weeks, probably more now!

What do BH contractions feel like with twins?? How do I know if it's BH contractions or one of my babies moving around and balling up? My tummy gets really tight, all over, and I read yesterday that if you have 4 or more in an hour call the doc. Well just at dinner tonight, I had like 6 in 45 mins. It scared me but i don't know what BH contractions are, and I don't know how to distinguish them.

labor pains make you hurt every where! and they don't go away no matter what you try. i was messuing 47 weeks pregnant with a 9 lb baby they said at 40 weeks. i was huge. 44 lbs of baby wieght. still about 10 lbs to go
