I just left the doctor Tuesday because I had some bleeding. I became very afraid because I couldn't understand and I didn't want anything to happen to my twins. Well when I got checked out by the doctor he said that I was fine as long as I'm not cramping. But he did a pap smear to make sure everything was in good condition. But I don't know the medical terms to what it was, but me and boyfriend had sex two nights before the blood and that's what it was from. The doctor said that my cervix is rubbing against something and it made it bleed. I mean I don't know the medical terms or anything but I called my doctor immediately when I saw the blood.

Ok just wanted to let you guys know that *Mommy*Mel* had the girls on the 19th. I don't know anymore details so congrats to her and melissa!!

Sleeping postition. Well i had a body pillow that i put behind me and leaned back on and then had pillows between my knees and under my belly. I think i must have had at least ten pillows when i was in the hospital. Also if you havn't already gotten one a maternity belt helped me tones. Some insurance companies will cover them under durable medical if you have a script from your doc.

Carina- i just looked at your belly pics and i can't believe how cute your little belly is. There is a huge difference in just a few weeks. and i'm glad that you found out that there were only two in there!!

I have been looking at those belts......hmmmm...wonder if I can get military insurance to cover it....my doctor says I will need one....I have been having tenderness at th bottom of my uteris....at my ultrasound the otherday...my cervix was nice and closed..and she assured me it was round ligament pain...because my uteris is growing big...faster than a singleton...and she said I will likely benifit from the belt that goes over my shoulder....hmmm...Igo back for another u/s in one week...I will surely ask about my insurance!!
I am looking into the body pillows too...
My little belly has gained some weight in the past few weeks...LOL...hubby has started calling me belly...LOL...I can only imagine how big im going to get before its all over...with my singleton...I was HUGH!!! LOL

Well I got an ultrasound yesteray...My doc called when she was done rounding and had me go down the stairs to labor and delivery where they have ultrasound equipment. We were able to see both babies and the heartbeats look fine, and they both were swimming around so everything looks good. She says the bleeding is most likely related to implantation of the placenta and try to take it easy for a few days (no sex or vigorous exercise, try to keep the feet up). The bleeding stopped and today I just have the light brown stuff only when I wipe so hopefully it was all just a little scare.

Yeah I've heard that and I thought that I was out of the woods since I'm a fraternal twin. Guess it's not always true!

actually skipping generations is just a myth.Women whohave faternal twins carry a gene called a hyperovulation gene. It sometimes appers that it skips generations if the gene is passed on to a male and then passed onto his offsping who then has twins.
EX. my dad is a faternal twin (boy girl) so my grandma passed the gene to him and in turn he can not have twins himself but he could have passed it onto any or all of the kids he has. So I got the gene, now if he passed it to my brother he won't have twins but if he has the gene he could pass that to any of his kids and they could have twins.

So the fact that your a twin and having twins is not out of the ordinary.
