re: PREGNANT WITH TWINS? (or more)

My mom has two sets which are her first born (twin boys) and then her 4th and 5th children (my sister and I) and now I am following in her footsteps with my first born as fraternal twins!

Aw congrats! It's a lot of fun, a lot of work but I wouldn't change it. My girls where my first and they are nearly 9 1/2 months now.

Hi Janna welcome. I am 32 + 3 weeks with mono/di boys. I completely understand how you feel. I am just trying to make it day by day. I do have a scheduled c section date for 11/28 but the doctors think I will go earlier. At 31 weeks my baby A measured 4 lbs 8 oz and baby B measured 4 lb 2 oz.

I am pregnant with mo/di twin girls and am 32 wks. pregnant. I just want to know if someone has attempted a vaginal delivery with baby b being transverse. I had a successful vaginal delivery with my first and baby a is presenting. Is there still enough time for baby b to go head down or is it too late? The doctors are not even answering my questions. I see a women center and not a single one of them agree on how, when or where I am to deliver. I am a very small person 5'1" and prepregnancy weight of 98lbs. have gained only 30lbs. for pregnancy. One doctor wants to induce at 37 wks. But the other three want to induce at 36 wks. and due to insurance I am not allowed to pick one doctor I have to see all of them. Which would you go with, because I can try and give them an idea of what I want. No real complications or anything. So any advice will be welcome.

I recently delivered twins and delivered the second baby footling breech...she wouldn't flip heads down because of where her cord was attached and it was wrapped around her neck twice (which they didn't know til they pulled her out) the doc reached up there for about 20 min and pulled her out feet first.

Did your doctor tell you when you where going to have them or did the doctor let you go into labor on your own?

My doctor wouldn't let me go past 38 weeks.

I had a scheduled c-section because of Luna (baby b) being breech. I'm glad I did. Aura had her cord wrapped around her neck and Luna's was in a giant knot and she came out really purple from lack of oxygen. They had no idea until the c-section and if I would've delivered vaginally they both would've been in danger

the earlier you deliver, the more likely it is that the girls will have a little bit of trouble
with size, temperature control, might need time under the lights, etc.
you've got a super tricky pregnancy w. the shared placenta. if your doctors are recommending a ceasarian, I would definitely listen.
ceasarian deliveries are easier on the babies, less possibility of trauma for them

my mo-di twins were starting to show signs of TTTS at 32 weeks and so got taken out on the double
until then, we were scheduled for 34 c section, one girl was transverse, the other was head down.
