Aww! That reminds me of the first time I bathed my son - he SCREAMED bloody murder and ended up peeing on me and soaking my shirt :-/ but once he was all snuggled up he was fine. It took us a good 6mos to get him to not scream every time he got a bath.

I'm preggo with twins!! Just wondering what were your babies weight and what week did you end up delivering? I'm just curious....being preggo with twins is definitely different from a singleton pregnancy! lol Plus I just had my son in Feb. 2012 so the babies will be right around a year apart.

Yes I'm excited and nervous! I worry with being in nicu. My son was 8lbs 5oz at birth and took up every bit of space my tummy could offer. He was 20in long. I just want healthy babies!! :-) We get to find out genders in 18 days!!!

I had a TON of morning sickness, but thankfully that is all gone!! Other then that everything has been good. Ideal would be 2 boys or boy/girl since I still have my clothes from my son that's only 6 months old. But I'll take any gender and love them all the same really!

I delivered at 38wks 1day via csection. Joe (baby a) was 5lbs and was 18 1/4" long. Adam (baby b) was 4lbs 15oz and was also 18 1/4" long. Adam had to have oxygen for about 20 mins but stabilize fast. No NICU time and we all went home 48 hours after. Congrats!! And welcome to the forum !

congratulations!
i'm on all-night vigil with my baby girls as I type

I can't imagine another toddler in the mix! you get a medal + gold star + another medal for bravery ;)

i had mine @ 32 weeks via emergency c-section due to TTTS (unless your twins are sharing a placenta, this isn't anything you'd ever need to worry about)
had the easiest, sleepiest, most boring pregnancy up until a few days before the TTTS diagnosis via ultrasound. not a single contraction, ever.
heh i now have two babies and i've never experienced labor!
anyways, yes there was 27 days of NICU time but they are two chunky monkeys now, catching up fast
cheers!

Im so glad you mentioned TTTS! I lost my twins 5 years ago due to TTTS because my doctor was not informed of the disease. I try to get on here ad let women know that if there twins share a placenta, they are at risk for this awful disease! Not to freak any expectant moms out but to educate them so they can be advocates for their babies! PLEASE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT WITH TWINS SO SHARE A COMMON PLACENTA EDUCATE YOURSELF ON TTTS!!!!

TTTS is twin to twin transfusion syndrom which means one baby can take all the nutrients while the other baby gets none. This can happen when the babies share a placenta and is generally found in identical twins either Mono/Di or Mono/Mono. Here is a link with information on the syndrom and what can be done if you are diagnosed. http://www.tttsfoundation.org/.

My twins are at risk for the syndrom due to them being identical and sharing a placenta but my doctor and high risk specialist are monitoring me closely for any signs. Currently my twin boys are sharing very nicely but one does like to put his rear end in the others face...lol.. There is a 15% difference in their measurements which is low and means that we are looking good so far.
