So, how did you guys handle FMLA leave? I talked to the doctors and they said that I could go on maternity leave whenever I want, basically, but when they sent back my FMLA paperwork to my work they said I wouldn't be able to start until sept 28th - my 40week mark. My charts say in big bold red letters - DELIVER @ 37 WEEKS! I saw it myself. So my 38 week mark is Sept. 7th. At my last appt on monday the doctor said that he would happily sign paperwork for me to go on "disability" on August 10th so I can rest and get ready for the girls to come.

I'm just not sure what I can do because my next appt isn't until Sept 10th so, yeah...

Any thoughts or advice?

Hello
I am new to the site and I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with twin boys. I also have an eight year old daughter who will be a great helper. I am at the begginning stage of feeling baby movement. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to some other twin mommies. Congratulations to all you.

Congratulations to all the mommas that had their babies! And welcome to all the twin mommas to be!

Since I found out I was having twins when I was 5 months my Dr wasn't 100% positive that my boys were identical, and he didn't examine the placenta. I decided to get a twin zygosity test, I got their results Tuesday, they are indeed identical. Daddy and I knew that they were, looks don't lie but I wanted the test for reassurance.

My boys will be 6 months in two weeks, time sure flys by. They are starting to sit up on their own, joe rolls all over and Adam only rolls from tummy to back. It has been so amazing watching them grow and interact with each other so far. They have started to really babble at eachother all the time, it's so cute!

Well hope every one is doing good! And Misty it is so nice to see you back on here! It had been awhile!

So I'm 26 weeks pregnant with a boy and a girl. I went to the Ob/gyn monday morning complaining of stomach pains. I thought maybe it was just gas, and they put me on the mech. to measure to make sure it wasn't contractions. Well it was.. I was sent to the hospital immediately afterwards and put on the mech again. They injected 3 shots till the contractions stop and sent me home. I was back up there tuesday morning with the same problem. This time I was giving a shot and a pill called procardia. The contractions stop and I was sent home again this time with a prescription for procardia.

I went back Thursday night because I was cramping and having a hard time breathing. They told me I was having contractions again and it looks like uterus irritability. I'm not contracting what so ever. But I'm still having this pains, and they said for me to take tylenol and that I should help. It doesn't.. whatsoever.

Is anyone else having this problem? I know I'm not alone with this.. what do you do for the pain? It's unbearable but they told me not to come back up there till I'm bleeding or have a discharge that my procardia should take care of the pain. I think I'm fixing to start seeing my ob twice a week now instead of once a month.

I don't care how much pain I'm in.. I'm just afraid that it's doing something to my kids. I know it sounds dumb.. this is my first pregnancy. But is the contractions and uterus irritability hurting them?

What is going on with your csec incision?
I had my first by csec with no problems and hope it goes well again.

They let you video record it, thats crazy. I would think for legal issues they wouldn't allow it.
