I def have to sleep naked at night to stay cool enough or I wake up drenched in sweat. Monday I went to my grandpas funeral and it was a freakin scorcher out there. I could only stay out there 10-15 min tops.. ugh i wish i had my own pool. i'm ready for my ultrasound tomorrow to see whats going on with the babies

Stay cool. Get one of those cheap plastic one's and sit your ass in it LOL. I wouldn't survive without a pool in this heat....even if it is my little kid's kiddie pool lol

Been gone for a while since my twins arrived!! Isla (baby A; 6lbs 2oz) and Mhairi (baby B; 4lbs 9oz) were induced early and arrived after 36 weeks and 2 days gestation on June 13th (baby B was showing signs of growth restriction, and mama was having BP issues, so the OB decided it was time). We delivered vaginally--yay!! Neither baby needed any time in the NICU, so we spent 2 days in the hospital before coming home. Mum's increasing BP problems, however, meant readmission for a couple of days, and a nasty magnesium treatment and other meds to stabilize, but all is now well and we are back home enjoying family life together. My girls are so chilled out so far although breastfeeding these youngsters seems to be a big challenge!! Happy days  

bleh I hate my tech..she takes forever to do the ultrasounds and they are always smurffy.. sorry but here are the only two "decent" pics we came home with (of the same baby). They are estimated to weigh 4 pounds 1 oz and 4 pounds 2 oz right now. They decided to take a nap during the ultrasound so I have to go back tuesday to get it redone. Forget what its called but its where they can score a total of 8 points and mine barely got 4 so they sent me to L&D after to get an nst which I ate before I headed over to there and the baby thats on top started kicking for a straight hour trying to get the monitors off of her. They passed that as responsive so I finally got to go home. As of right now, baby A is head down and baby B is breech.

(I think she mislabeled them.. I think these are of B because A is head down and squished.. She's a new u/s tech so who knows)

Has anyone delivered twin before... I am nervous as can be! AND HUGE!!!

Well last night was fun. I lost my Plug and started having contactions and had to do to LD. was there four hours they got the contactions to stop I was so scared my boys were coming into the world last night. Now Im really being watched because they said could be this week or next week my water could brake.

Yeah I had a scare sunday   How far along are you? Hopefully they wait until they are developed enough

Im 30 weeks. Im praying they stay in for 5 or 6 weeks.

oh no! that is scary. I was scared sunday when I was almost 32 weeks.. My doctor scared me yesterday at the apt saying if I went into labor they'd send me to indianapolis to have them because apparantly my hospital doesn't have a good NICU... I hate indianapolis lol.. Used to live there as a kid and all I can think of when I think of indianapolis is ghetto..which i know there is more than that there but ugh... lol.. Do they have you on weekly visits now? They just started my NST's and biophysical profiles.

Yep I go every week up an till now everrythings been great. my doctor is really good and the hospital has a good Nicu. but alot of the twins born were i live end up having to go to vanderbilt children's hospital innashville i just dont want it to come to that because that almost 90miles away.
