Haven't decided yet   i will do either, liked TS, but would also like to try a GS journey   it more depends on chemistry with the couple more than the way I will be conceiving their child for me

My story is a bit different I guess.
I am in Canada, and did an international surrogacy for friends I had known online for quite some time, spoke nearly every day.
I'll quickly outline it though, and if anyone has quesitons I'll gladly answer them of course. I was a TS, did insems November 29th, and 30th. First positive was December 7th, about 7dpo, first digital positive was December 9th, about 9dpo.
December 15th I had an ultrasound and they said two sacs, but that not all sacs develop. January 14th was my next one, definitely two babies, i was 8 w6d according toultrasound results, EDD August 20th, 2011.
Placenta abruption at 22w6d, minor, stopped contractions and sent me home to rest.
Foundo ut I was 3cm at 27 weeks, didn't know if it was due to the abruption earlier stated since they didn't want to check me. IP's backed out same day.
Found Adoptive Parents at 29 weeks.
Gave birth at 32w3d vaginally, took over 3 hours to get from 9 to 10 cm after only 45 minutes of labor because of the epidural, was induced to finish. Babies were born June 28th at 1:58 and 2:19pm. Both sacs had to be broken, Baby B was very far up and we needed the doctor to reach into the uterus and reposition B's head so I could push her down and out. A was 3 lbs 11 oz and B was 3 lbs 9 oz, both breathing and crying on their own. Being released this week to their adoptive parents.

Wow! Amazing story! Thanks for sharing!!! Thats unfortunate that your original IPs backed out. That had to have been stressfull for you!!! Glad you found a new set of parents though to take those lovely babes!!! Congrats!!!

THEY BACKED OUT?! whos sperm did they use the IF?

This thread needs to be RE-awoken. I hate I don't have a surro thread to go to on here! We're signing contracts next week!

I cant have a pregnancy yet because I have to get my BMI in just the right spot but after I can I want to do IVF because I have a tubil ligation in place (clamp) I want to try to do an independent open adoption once I can get situated. I want ivf to implant with 2 embryos on day 5 which is a really good chance of success for both. If I can have 1 pregnancy and 2 births then I wouldnt mind trying to find a loving home for one of them. Is this wrong? Seperating twins? I would want to keep one and adopt out one. My daughter is 12 years old now. What are some of the issues emotional I might face?
If I cant get the weight off I would love to find an independent private open adoption.
