first baby outfit...help!!

so we're gonna go shopping to get our little one his first outfit for coming home from the hospital
but we dont know what we can and cant get
the question is what does the outfit haveto consist of?

Wish I could help but i'm not even choosing my baby's first outfit. I'm letting my grandma do it. She's always wanting to buy the first outfit for all of her great grandbabies but somebody always beats her to it. I decided to let her do it because she's the only one that's really helping me out while my mom is gone to Iraq. Let's just hope she has good taste....

whatever you want to bring baby home in, it dont matter its up to you

it really depends on where you live. most pepole just seem to get a cute sleeper to bring there baby home in. i was obessed and had to find a premi dress to bring her home in. its really your own taste just make sure you have a nice blanket to covor your baby up when you go out side even if its warm i would not want all the germs going on my newborn when leaving the hospital

Yor in texas hun! Hot and humid!! Your mom saounds like she may be an over protective grandmother. Your the mom, do what you feel is best!

ah yeah thats what i'm afraid of all the germs outside
but i've been looking like crazy trying to find something and found lots of adorable things

most people bring their babies home in sleepers.its the easiest to dress them in at that age and they dont get cold that way
