anyone here do foster care?

I just recently got licensed to do foster care and would like to know if anyone would like to share their stories. Good or bad its great to have people to talk to.

My family did foster care, and its really hit or miss. There are children with have serious issues, in Alaska we had young girls I believe 10 that were eskimo and they were alcoholics! Some had sexual abuse and did very perverted things. Some were the greatest kids you ever meet. The fact that you have children keep your guard up and make sure you get their story!

Ya we just started and the baby is foster care my other children are older but I know what you mean. My concern is how I will react when its time to give baby back I have had him since he was two days old and it looks like I will have him until dec or jan.
