Six weeks in to TTC and I'm already feeling defeated. I have no idea why I thought I would get pregnant right away after I had Mirena removed. I mean, all of my pregnancies I got pregnant on the "first try", but I mean, that was like three years ago, so I don't know why I'd think my body would work the same now.

I just feel so discouraged after having the ectopic and then all those faint lines thinking I was pregnant, and now I just feel like I'm just not meant to have another baby  

We are going on vacation in 8 weeks and now I'm thinking I should just get back to working out and eating right (since I've gained a smurf ton of weight thinking I'll probably get pregnant so why bother dieting anymore...  ), and put off "actively" TTC until we get back... sigh.

And I know most of you have been TTC a lot longer and have been through much more than I have, and I know I should be so incredibly thankful for the three beautiful children I already have, but I just needed to vent a little and didn't want to make a thread, so I figured you ladies wouldn't mind hearing me out...

I can understand completely. I thought the same thing after getting my Mirena out.... But getting a healthy diet and working out isn't a bad idea. I decided to diet/lose weight, lost 5lbs and got pregnant. haha

I understand mama. TTC no matter how long can be defeating. Dieting and excersing is a good idea, I have heard that some start to do that and bam they get pregnant.

Hey mama, how are you doing? Haven't seen you much in the TTC thread, it's so quiet in there right now.

Well I literally JUST got AF, so I guess that's a start... At least I know where I stand now. I'm actually happy/relieved to be able to start fresh and know where I'm at.

Mrs.: Oh yes, that's a great thing. Hopefully your cycles get normal now like mine did. I got my IUD out May 22nd and didn't get a real period until July 4th.

I figured that's where everyone has been. I know I wasn't really on for several days there since my Mom and Gma were here visiting. I hope you had a great time with your family.

Glad you started! I wish I would.. not TTC but I really need to get my body to cooperate so we can as soon as DH gets back! UGH

Hey ladies! I have a question. I posted a topic about it yesterday and didn't get much info. And I lurk in here sometimes and thought maybe you could help! Anyways, I recently found out I am pregnant with my 5th baby! I am still nursing my 16 month old dd. I just started having periods again in August and they have been on time since, but it took me until I was 7 days late to get a positive test. Do you think I just ovulated late or could it just not have picked up on a test for some reason? I could have swore I ovulated on time around oct 31-nov 3. I had ewcm oct 31 and was crampy for a couple days after. Just curious because it did take 7 days late to get a bfp. according to my last period I shoukd be due Aroind July 24. Thanks!!
