GREEN POOP!

Ok this is totally not a big deal but I'm really curious! Ever since I found out I was pregnant I've been having green poop! Like baby poop. I've read many different things about what it could be-grape drink, leafy foods, healthy eating, etc. I know I've been downing A LOT of grape Powerade lately and I've been staying away from greasy fast food just because it sounds nasty...so maybe that's it?? Idk, if any of you have had this or know what its from, please fill me in!!  

I was told that it is due to lack of iron. Eat more meat and see if that helps or take an iron supplement.

Usually a blackish green stool is from iron supplementation. It is normal, there may be more iron in your prenatal than you are used to getting. Bright green is more of a sign of infection, or eating certain foods. I can call myself a poop expert in my line of work

Purple dyes will turn stool a light greenish color...

Drinking too much "grape drink" does that to me. heh.

hmm see i heard it was the excess amount of iron that we're getting from prentals.

happened to me too. but when i got pregnant i switched to grape pop instead of mountain dew. i found out that was the culprit. and the gatorade will do it too! both of which i was drinking a lot of! lol its weird huh?

yeah I would say it's a light green-I'm thinking that's probably it because I've been addicted to grape Powerade since I got prego.

mine is like that to and all i drink is tons and tons of water and i have to take and iron pill..

Mine is kinda the same and that is because i take an iron and folate supplement. It also happens if u eat too much licorice lol.
