re: maybe a loss maybe not? PLZ HELP

Ok, so the same thing happened to me. Twice also. Both around the 4th week...just about the time the circulatory system would have begun to form. Here is what I was told. For a month or two before becoming pregnant i was to take my prenatal (which had 1 mg folic acid already in it) plus an additional 3 mg folic acid a day. Now that I am pregnant again my doctor has me taking one baby asprin a day also. So far (fingers crossed) so good. Basically I had a genetic blood test and discovered I have a clotting disorder. My body does not absorb folic acid properly which makes my blood sticky and clotty. The extra folic acid and baby asprin are supposed to help. I suggest you talk to your doctor about this or find one who knows about it because most do not seem to. I'm going to check my records and get back to you on the exact test I had. So sorry for your loss

yeah. that is a good idea. i miscarried once before and thats what they told me. its hard on me now with my second pregnancy becuase i lost the first, so it is hard emotionally. but you will get thru it. just concetrate on figuring out whats going on with your body and see if there is anything they can do to prevent the miscarriage.
