I want to do Montessori. How old is your LO & what sort of activities are you doing? What toys are they playing with?
I've got a couple books on the Montessori method.

she is almost 2 and a half but knows most of her colors, shapes, numbers and some letters. We do lots of sensory bins, and have our house set up very independent. She has her water station so she is responsible to get her own drinks. she also comes up and cuts her bananas for snack time. everything is finding ways for her to do it herself.

Is there any links that shows what a kid show know at the end of the school year? My husband and I are planning on sending the kids back to school in a few years and we want to make sure that they are not to far behind. I can't find any definitive resources on this.

You can ask your local school for information on what they're learning that school year to keep on track (or ahead) since you pay taxes and should be welcome to use their resources as well.
Other than that, I found this http://www.teachingwithtlc.com/2008/05/end-of-year-assessments.html
But I'm not sure if it will help you.

Most of the reason you can't find anything is that homeschoolers sometimes have a dislike of comparing itself to traditional school. Like we don't have to cover certain subjects, can use a wide range of teaching styles, and that all doesn't translate sometimes to a "core knowledge" that can be written down the same way that a traditional school can. I would recommend this series of books that would be a good guide. Some public libraries have them too.

Jamil isn't home schooled persa because he goes to school, but we do most If not all his academic teaching at home because he's to far ahead of his class (it's just pre-school) not sure how it will work once he goes to kindergarden or first grads. He needs the structure and schedule and peers at a school,

Is it? I hadn't looked that closely yet, she likened it to waldorf style.
