how many of you guys got it and it worked the on the 1st attempt cause monday my doctor's going to induce my labor and i was wondering about the epidural. also if any of you have been induced how was it? cause i heard ALOT of bad things from other woman ive been talking to, who were induced.

I was induced.I wasn`t dialted and i wasnt 'soft at all It took 2 1/2days and then 15 hours of labor and 10 minutes of pushing it wasn`t that bad being induced it was just long for me.The epi was great and worked the first time.

well I'm not gonna vote in the poll cuz none of those really apply to me, but I had an epi that only half worked. I guess it went in crooked because it only numbed the right side of my body.. they gave me an extra squirt of the medicine and I laid on my left side, and gravity pulled the medicine down. Unfortunately when I flipped to my right side (even thru the epi my hip was starting to hurt from the pressure of being on my left side for hours) I started feeling my contractions again in my left side, so I had to flip back.

Luckily I only pushed for 15 minutes, because it woudl have sucked if I started feeling it again while acutally giving birth!

Mine worked on the first attempt. It is amazing. Do not get the drugs through the iv. Those made me feel like i was drunk and really sleepy.Just get the epi

Lol I got them befor ethe epi .and they sure did make me feel like I was a bit tipsy and sleepy as hell

I was induced on friday,didnt have her until monday morning so yeah it sucked for me,I didnt have the epi I was in labor for at least 12 hours,the midwife on told me I was faking it and I got no pain meds,I was in alot of pain.

well i was induced and it took 2 days.but the epidural work on the first try. i just felt pressure. but good luck

i was induced took 12 hours and ailey was here, i was a fingertip and 50 percent effaced, i would love to be induced everytime, it was easy and not bad at all, i was 31 weeks and 2 days, and i had an epi and it was heaven

Mines worked fine on the first attempt and I was sooooooo happy I got it! It helped me so much. I mean, I was chillin' after I got that thing! I will definately have it this time around too. You just have to stay very still while they put it in. I didn't even feel it when they put it in.

idk if it matters but they told me that im 3 cm dilated so would that make it easier?

does that happen often where people dont feel it?
cause just knowing that theyre going to be putting it in my back makes me squrmiy.

i frlt them put it in my back, but they numb the spot on your back first.
