The receptionist asked if I wanted to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist and I said psychiatrist and that's all he asked except for my information to make the appointment.

They probably will go through your history of sexual abuse if any or any mental health things you've had treatment you've had before. They might ask your family history.

Yeah, EVERYWHERE I called was after the holidays, some in Jan. and some in Feb. Some weren't even taking new patients, some didn't accept my insurance. I got really lucky with this one lol.

My depression is hitting an all time low. I feel like I'm not good for L. Then I think about all sorts of people that have it worse than me so I feel bad to complain about it. My first's 4 year angelversary is coming up in a few weeks

My depression is an all time low. I feel sometimes I have no right to complain because there are people who have it worse than me.

Im not sleeping very well. My anxiety is pretty high. My parents are fighting and I'm caught in the middle alot of the time.

I'm so nervous for tomorrow.

Do you think when I go and tell them I'm depressed, have had some anxiety attacks, have trouble falling and staying asleep, etc, the doctor will prescribe me meds right away? or try to do something else first? Or not prescribe meds on the first visit? I don't know what to expect
