That is one antidepressant I haven't tried

The Dr. said it should take about a week to it to start to work

That's the minimum it would start working. It makes sense. With almost all antidepressants it takes awhile for it to start working

We didn't really talk much actually   I was only in his office for maybe 10 minutes and he prescribed me medication and he told me people don't stay depressed forever so the medication should work, etc. He suggested I meet with a therapist also and I have to find one.

Me too. The sleeping meds didn't really work   I took one and an hour later I took another one and about 45 min later I fell asleep.. but it was also 3 in the morning so I don't know if it was the meds that worked or just too tired to stay up any longer.

Aww   they may start working or you may have to switch. That's what happened with all of the other ones than Ambien

I'm very very depressed. I have no friends. anymore. I have 2 kids by 2 different dads and those dads aren't in the picture for my kids....I have a 3rd baby on the way with a guy that everyone hates and for good reason probably....but they tear me down for being with him and make me feel worthless.... i now know nobody likes me.... i havent even had a relationship with my own mom in over a year and my biggest supporter, my rock, was my father who was my best friend and he just passed away october 23rd..... and ive been having a very hard time accepting the fact that he is gone..... it hurts so bad..... and it hurts I feel alone in my situation.... my boyfriend tells me to cheer up and not care what people think and if they have a problem then smurf em.....but i just am so hurt over losing my best girlfriend over this....
i also just feel like the biggest piece of smurf ever with not having anything in order yet.... i need a job to keep my dads place... i need to go back to school..... but worry about how im gonna juggle work, school, and kids....... im tired all of the time, no matter how much sleep i get...sometimes i want to sleep forever..........
