Don't Worry. I've heard that it varies. The first time I felt a kick, I didn't know what to expect and I wasn't sure what I felt. I am 18 weeks and having been feeling the baby move and kick for awhile , it just took me awhile to notice what it was cause I had never felt it b4.You will feel like there is someone flicking you on the inside and some kicks will be stronger than others. If you lay down on ur back for a couple a minutes you may be able to feel it better. You will feel it soon. Don't worry ur downtor would have told you if something was wrong and some babies are more active that others. It's such a light kick sometimes your really have to wait for it good luck respond if you want to be buddies. PS YOU WILL FEEL THE BABY VERY SOON [/img]

My little one I could start feeling at 18 weeks. I can only feel it in the inside but I've also had 2 other ones so I know what to feel for. Everyone is different.

When I had my son I diidnt know he was kicking until I was 23-25 weeks. This one I felt at 4 monrhs because I knew what to look for....your baby is kicking and moving, but isnt that strong yet,lol....around 23-25 weeks since this is your first you will prob. feel the kicking and thats when they are more developed, also around the 24th week expect the baby to really really kick,lol....

i'm at 19 weeks and i haven't felt him kicking just yet... but i'm getting anxious and curious about what it feels like!! i've felt some flutters but it's so hard to determine if it was just my tummy rumbling cause i was hungry or gas... so i don't know.

I didn't feel anything until I was about 19 weeks. I felt it for a couple of days before I figured out what it was. It wasn't constant just a couple times a day. I think it feels just like when someone pokes you with their finger. That's about the best description I can come up with. Now it's just uncomfortable because she moves around more than actually kicking. I love it! But I have a feeling that might change very soon when she starts packing on weight. Oh yeah and I think it's neat when you can look at your stomach and actually see the movement. Good luck!

Hey guys...
My pregnancy has been weird I guess. Early on I guess I was probably close to 17 weeks I felt this little tickle right underneath my bellybutton one night when I was laying down. But after that I didn't really feel anything. I didn't know what I was suppose to be feeling as I've never been pregnant before. But I honestly didn't really feel active movement until about 24 weeks, and for a while she was very active every day....but usually only late at night.
Now she is active at speratic moments....but my hubby and I say she is lazy because sometimes I won't feel her for what seems like a couple days. However, I am measuring a little big...so that could also be why I don't feel her as much. If you suspect something is wrong intuitively then call your doctor is what I say. It is better to be safe than sorry. But as far as them just taking a little bit of time to relax....babies sleep a lot. That is what they do. So I wouldn't worry too much if you don't feel a lot of movement. Especially the larger you get....the less likely you are to feel movement because the more the baby is growing and they have less room. Hope this helps!

First baby started kicking around 16wks. Second about the same. Third baby was about 17wks. This one, I didn't feel till 23 wks, but knew he was moving during a 17wk. ultrasound.

Hi, I'll be 20 weeks this week, and so far, I haven't really felt much, just some flutters, but then I am not sure if I have gas, or just a hungry tummy. I'm waiting for the real thing too. I have heard that is varies, and if this is your first, then it can take you a while to realize that it is movement that you are feeling! This is my first, so I am trying to wait patiently !!!! We can be waiting together

Hey there girly,
Most likely those little flutters you feel are the baby. They can feel like gas and that is what makes it sometimes hard, but if you are feeling the flutters and haven't ate in a while then you are most likely feeling the baby. I didn't start feeling active movement that I could really tell it was her.....until about 22 weeks when I woke up one morning it was like she was just poking me over and over saying get out of bed mom! LOL! Then I didn't feel anything for a while. This is what happened to me over and over again from 17 to 24 weeks. At about 24 to 25 weeks...I started feeling her move. I was like I have no idea what movement is suppose to feel like. LOL I've never been pregnant before...am I really going to know that its movement? HAHA! But when they start to really get moving....you'll know. My little girl has her spurts. She likes to sleep a lot I guess I'm not real sure. Cause I feel her everyday for the most part....just not as much as when she first started moving. I'm also measuring big though, so that could have something to do with it! Hope this helps! Be patient....I'm sure you'll start to feel your little one soon enough.
