re: *OFFICIAL THREAD* Moms with 4+ kids

Hi all, my name is Carol & i'm 36. The 3 kids I have are 9, 8 & 6 years old from a previous relationship. My 9 year old has moderate learning difficulties. I wouldn't change the kids for the world even though there hard work at times. I'm happily married to a new partner & i'm 4 weeks pregnant with child number 4, i'm excited but think i'm mad starting all over again lol. If this pregnancy & labour is trouble free we may consider having one more & that's it no more lol

We are soon to have five and my DH wants six. I will probably cave because I love babies soooo much. Maybe I have an addiction?
Lately I've been troubled with a string of colds and a flu and I am feeling so worn out.

Anyone have any good ideas for a pick me up?

I'm taking vitamin B12 and I have not noticed any change in my energy levels.

I'm not sure if it's an addiction but I might have the same problem. I love babies too. I was gonna wait like 3-5 years but I decided instead nope we're gonna go for number 5 soon.

I can't honestly give you much of a tip though other than lots of vitamin c and trying to sleep the most you can (which I know is hard when you have kids, especially once you get past two kids lol) but yeah. I rarely get sick and I think it's because of that.

Vitamin c- thanks! Sometimes I overlook the simple things.

I have 3 and another will be here in jan. But I live in a little tiny town and sometimes i hate going to the store because i get that stare from people like havent you figured out where they came from yet. Is it just me or does anyone one else get that

Hi everyone! My name is Bri and I am new to baby gaga. I have four girls with baby number five which we found out is a boy! I am so excited to have a large family. I never expected to have this many kiddos... thought initially we would have only two, but it always seemed as though our family was ment to be bigger. This baby is set to deliever in April and I had already mentioned to DH number six...he's not convinced..yet anyway   but we shall see. I can relate to those who talk of the looks that you get when out and about with the fam...I was recently in walmart and the cashier asked me if I had "brought my sisters out for the day"...( my eldest is 13, the second is 10, then 6 and 18 months..)imagine her surprise when I explained that they were my children...

This is fantastic! We're making the jump from 4 to 5 in February...It's going to be...interesting.

I've got a 7 year old boy, 5 year old twins, (My son and my daughter), as well as a 3 year old girl. And expecting a gender surprise.

We had talked about having 6 since before we got married, and I think we'll stick with that. Depends on how this baby is.

I guess the only thing that drives me crazy about being a bigger family is the remarks we get from some people. (Such as, "They're all yours? Are you serious?")

I've had that last bit a lot, then again when I have to say yeah 2 of them are mine 2 are my step-kids. Soon it'll be 3 are mine 2 are step kids. I personally think they're all mine despite that, their mom abandoned them, and I've raised them for 3 years or so of their lives. I stepped in even when I was just in a relationship not marriage with my husband to help him out so.

But yeah, we will have 5 kids, though I don't plan for more if I'm having twins so be it kinda thing. It's kinda crazy having this many yeah, but I love it lol. They're all such a joy.

I couldn't imagine it any other way! Is it mild insanity? Absolutely. But I wouldn't change it.

Ah, if they're your stepkids then they're your kids. I remember one time hearing that anyone can give birth to a child, but not everyone can be a mother. And if you're the one who stepped in to raise them, that makes you their Mom.

We're definitely going for 6...My husband talks about having another after number 6, and I'm like, "Buddy, we're at number 5 right now...When we get to 6, we may not be thinking the same way."

Plus I don't want to be having kids into my late thirties. So we're probably done after 6.

I am on my ninth pregnunce 7 th baby due in 5 weeks I've been lucky as all mine are boys so kept a lot and u learn to budget mine are 11,10,8,6,5,2 and soon to be a newborn this is our last I'll be 36 my hubby has had the chop can be hard on days out as we don't drive but day to day its great :-)

I have 5 sons and 3 stepkids. They all live with me full time. Its rough but after Baby #4, It was nothing just adding on kids. We don't really do family vacations, but when we all do go out somewhere, We just do it. My sons are 10,9,6,2,&1, and his kids are 7,3,&2.
