Attention VBACers!

Ok ladies! I want to hear your VBAC experience stories! I am due in May and am starting to get a little anxious! I guess I really worry about pain around the area of the scar. I made it through being induced and natural birth all to have an emergency c-section after 3 hours of pushing (his head was huge). So my idea of labor is tainted- it hurt so bad! But I really want todo this and am looking for some experience! Thanks ladies!

I had a very similar experience with my oldest child. I tried for a natural delivery(no drugs for pain),I pushed for about 4 hours and in the end had an emergency c-section.So I was really nervous about going thru the whole process again . I was so afraid I would end up in the operating room again. I had a wonderful doctor and my vbac went very well.
My doctor induced me 10 days before my due date . And things progressed very well. I went from 3cm to 10 in only 45 minutes.I had an epidural this time-I didn't with my first-and he was born after about 5 pushes. He was a very healthy 7lbs 11ounces. My recovery was so much better as well. I took shower later that evening and the day I came home I went to the grocery store.
I am planning on a vbac with this baby as well. I actually switched doctors(my dr. from my last pregnancy moved to Washington)early on in this pregnancy because my first doctor was very discouraging about me having a vbac due to her vacation schedule.

I had somewhat of a similiar experience with my little one. Her head and chest was far to big to pass so after an hour and a half of non-medicated pushing they put me in for an emergency c-section.
