I'm all for using family names for the baby's middle name.

Louise is my SO's mother's middle name too. I really think this is a boy though, so no worries there. SO's dad's middle name was Alexander, and it's definitely on my list. Means: defender of men.

Between the male names in my family and in dh's family, there isn't too many I like.LOL! So I had a hard time deciding what to pick to go with Zachary. It was a name that I had always loved, so I HAD TO use it. hehe I thought David went well with it, so Zachary David is was. Plus my dad grew up with only sisters, then married my mom that already had three girls, then they had two girls. POOR GUY! So his name deserve to be passed on. With this one, if it is a boy, we are using Randel as the middle name because it is my husband's first name and my FIL's middle name.
