Miscarriage

My friend was playing with her brother and then she started to bleed but she is not sure if it was from a miscarriage or if it was form the birthcontrol that she was taking. How do you tell if it was clots or a miscarriage?

If it was a miss-carriage and not all of it came out it can become infected and get you very very sick!!!!!!!!

Your friend needs to go to the emergency room. If all of the tissue does not pass it can become infected and cause further damage.

If she is cramping, bleeding, passing clots which can be red or gray. But she can be bleeding and not pass any clots and it can still be a miscarriage that is why we are telling you to tell your friend to go to the ER because it can be a missed miscarriage. Only a doctor can say for sure.

is it safe for her to go to work probably not but she wont answer her phone could it possibly be form the YAZ? They said that it could happen but how do you tell the difference cuz she wont go unless I tell her she had one and she needs to go, so is there any way to tell?

any "clot" doesn't sound good

yeah but how do I get her to go?

If you can't get her to go souly on what we have told you. Then you can't,

But if she continues to bleed. And or clot. She should go.

Tell her if she is cramping, passing clots of any kind, bleeding heavy, or worse running a fever. She should get someone to take her to the ER or take herself fast. Now if she does not want to listen or you can't talk her into going then it is out of your hands. I know she is your friend, but you have done all a friend can do. And if it gets really bad, she will eventually go herself. Plus is she has questions she can call her local hospital sometimes someone will give her the same information we have given you over the telephone. I am sure there is a warning label on her birthcontrol and possibly a 1-800 number. Or she can even go online and look it up.

They will be able to tell her.

They can check for pregnancy hormones in her blood/pee

I just flat out call BS. She posted another forum about the same thing less then 20 minutes later.
