re: affording circumsision(sp)

My husband and I most likely aren't going to get our son circumsized. I read something in a magazine that uncircumsized men have a less chance of getting an STD or AIDS. Yeah, it looks nicer to have them circumsized but it's up to you if you really want to get that done and have him suffer the pain of the doctor cutting his extra skin off.

we are getting it done because his father is and it will save from a lot of questions....why does dads look different and it will make him feel less left out...i mean think about it how would you feel if you looked at your dads and then saw how different yours was...you look up to your father and want to be like him but you will always feel wierd because you are different...at least thats how i feel....i dont judge anyone for getting it or not gettign it done its a preference and choice and we have made ours

yeah and my state sucks lol....no but i cant complain its the only thing that i will have to pay for out of pocket it just couldnt have come at a more inconvient time

my doctor's office has a sign up that says that it is 425 dollars, it jumped too 625 but when they were bought out by Charlotte hospital it went back down to 425. So 250 is so good! But anyways alot of places will allow you to make payments so I would ask them. At my dr office you can make payments but it has to be paid in full at the time of delivery for them to do it.

I've heard the complete opposite from a few doctors who have stated that uncircumsized men have a MUCH greater chance of having an STD/AIDS and infections than that of a circumsized baby.
