re: May mommies where are you all hiding?

3 boys already! Wahhhhoooooo! I'm working on my first one although my partner has 2 girls already from a previous relationship. The poor guy is doing incredibly well putting up with some of my teary eyed moments I've got to say! I suppose you have the experience of it all when it comes to being hormonal? The really reassuring thing though is that it hasn't put you off having more children - that's amazing and really really reassuring!
Thank you

Quoting maymummy:“ Hi i know what you mean about the heartburn i have a day here or there where I dont get any but those ... [snip!] ... everything is so new to me. but I cannot wait til the day the baby comes. Its so cool to feel the kicking and moving around.”

I skipped the morning sickness as welland craving's I only wanted lemon - I would stand at the fridge door and drink half a bottle of lemon juice (still gets my mouth watering) but that faded in the begining of the 3rd month..... but the heartburn is horrible.....
I am still trying to figure out where she is and what is poking me, I get this "lump" pushing up every now and then and not sure if it is a head, back or bum - it is soooo funny..... Marius loves watching her moving around in there. But was a little worried about the "lump" cause it just got bigger and bigger so I had to push her back down a bit, then she would move but not before she gave me one hard kick to show her anger......... hee hee is was fun.

Yea i know 3 and all boys LOL but i'm not having anymore after this one belive me LOLas this has been my hardest pregnancy ever as i had morning sickness the lot more then with my other prenancy's, plus losing my mum in 2006 was very hard as i also lost my dad in 2004 so being parentless at 23 was very very hard to cope with as i had 2 boys and i was also still pregnant with my 3rd son when my mum passed on, so i do my very best to be a great mum to my boys as they were very close to there nan. Bit worried about the birth now as i know my mum wont be here and my last labour was so hard because she died 10 days before my 3rd son was born :0(
But i'm very lucky to have a wonderful partner who is always there for me and puts up this my moods witch change daily LOL

This is my second pregnancy & I have been much less emotional/homonal than I was with my first. So, not all pregnancies will have you crying at commercials on t.v. (I did that with my first pregnancy...lol)

Quoting maymummy:“ I am not really sure if I have the same pain, I do sometimes get a sharp pain in that area, when this ... [snip!] ... I just try to lie down if I can and relax. But then again this is my first so it might be best to ask your doctor what to do.”

What helps me when I have that lower pain is supporting it. I either wear something that will help 'lift' that area a little bit, or I will hold it up a little bit when I go to stand up or have to stand for long periods of time.

Good luck to you!

Since no one is decorating, yet.... lol... I was wondering if any May moms are having any Braxton Hicks contractions, yet. Mine started last week. I didn't have them until my last 4 weeks with my first pregnancy.

What I thought was my baby kicking me in the cervix is probably me just carrying low. Laying down is the best solution, but can't do that at work...lol.. sitting gives me some relief, but I can barely do that at work, too. (I have a 'run around' job).

I just got the bedding & accessories for our little girl's room yesterday. I changed my mind 1/2 dozen times, but this is what I eventually decided on:
This weekend we are going to pick out two paint colors.

I never get pics so not sure what it looks like sooooorry. BH yip well I think it was, felt like a nerve twitchy kinda crampy feel..... think that is what it was, not sure this is my first time around.

Baby is kicking very low last three days and it is very uncofortable and I am on the loo all the time and dieing to wee but then feel like I can't don't know what she is squishing in there but she needs to move up a bit now.... ha ha jokes over....
Have bad heartburn again that is always fun....NOT!
We have gone froggie mad for our little one - not keen on pink so I am going light lime green and I love it..... all her froggies are soooooo cute.... so far everyone has said she is going to hate frogs - how could any one hate frogs they are so cute....

Try Rolaids soft chews for the heartburn. Mine has been manageable (so far) with them. The bloating has been worse, but the Rolaids help with that, too. I feel like a Rolaid junkie! I love lime green (& frogs). My first daughter's room is done in red, lime green, & yellow. We painted the top half of the wall "lemon chiffon" and the bottom half "key lime pie."(That was the name of the colors in the can). For girl #2 we are going pink. It is predominately two shades of pink, but also has purple flowers and lots of birds. The name of the line is "Birdsong." I am excited about it because it signifies that she is movin' in... & it won't be long...

Hi! Im new here. Im due May 18th. I am having a little girl and Im so excited. She will be my first and last child! I cannot wait for her. I have probably had the easiest pregnancy of anyone I have ever known, I did not have an ounce of morning sickness, I never craved anything weird, the only bad thing that has happen that was horrible for me is that I can no longer eat chicken which I LOVE more than anything in the world! It just really upset me stomach and it made me hurt really bad! Other than the heartburna and indigestion and now the baby backaches and feet hurting badly after work, I have enjoyed my pregnancy! She kicks a lot when I am comfortable and she now kicks hard enough to kick my fiancee at night in the back when we are sleeping! She is very active when I first lay down to go to bed so it takes me awhile to be able to go to sleep now. ...
This is starting to get long so I think Ive said enough. lol I love my baby and cannot wait to see her!

I am definitely getting kicked in the ribs--heartburn almost always--Moodiness off and on--ALWAYS SLEEPY--and constantly at the fridge looking for what i'm going to eat next

As for what makes the baby move-- She LOVES orange juice.. definitely moves all over the place everytime I drink Orange Juice.   Her daddy talks to her every night before we go to sleep and tells her that he loves her and sings her songs-- this also starts her moving around quite a bit!! She loves to hear Daddys voice!!   And every time I eat food she wakes up and starts moving around.

Im due may 26th and veryyyyyyy excited that i'm almost done with the pregnancy aspect! I love to feel her kicking but I would much rather hold her and not have to deal with the backaches and heartburn.   This is my first pregnancy and Im sure its not my last. My boyfriend wants a boy and being that this is a girl..hes going to want another baby!!

Congradulations to all you other May Mommys!!

I have to say that the one thing I really think my son enjoys is when I lay propped up in bed and I massage my belly. I apply a little pressure so it's like he gets massaged as well when I do it! It's really cute and it seems to either make him relax or want to play...just depends on his mood!
