My Boss Deserves Idiot of the year Award.

Well for anyone that doesn't pull up my profile first, I'm a CNA. I work for a hospice in south Carolina. I'm needing to get this frustration out of my system because my boss has got me so pissed off I feel sick... errr
So I've worked now over a year with this company. Our office is relativly small just a Chaplin, Social worker, Volunteer Coordinator, 2 Cna, 2 nurse, receptionist, and my boss who also is suppose to function as a Nurse ( I say suppose because her lazy ass never gets up to do a damn thing... even when an emergency arrises!!!!) ... I was hired with the job offer of Monday through Friday 8-5 allowing for an hour of lunch (unpaid)... reasonable right? about 3 months ago now our patient load picked up as well as my boss desided that not only are we going to service Columbia but we are going to cover 9 other counties ... meaning to see some patients we are forced to drive over an hour one way. We also have set frequencies and amazingly enough all patients that live in the middle of nowhere also want a bath 3x a week and require 2 assist most days. In order to accomidate this my co worker and i had to move one visit a week for the patient farthist away to Saturday and take turns making the visit. This is the point where we mention to the boss lady "hey start looking for a PRN CNA we're booked solid on m-w-f and can't accomidate anymore visits and had to move one to saturday. Now fast forward to today and she has not only admitted 5 more patients shes also offered me and my coworker up to patients on the weekend!!! As it is neither of us is able to take a day off and now she stole our weekends too, I was forced to work overtime EVERY Week with No day off. At my last appointment my doctor asked about work and how it was going since he knows I do quiet a bit of lifting still and I told him this situation. He wrote a doctors order stateing that I was No longer to be working over 40 hours and never on the weekend to provide me adiquite rest during this last trimester. And you know what her ass had the nerve to say? "I'm sorry but I have to approve this" ... uh NO lady you don't and you are suppose to be a nurse so YOU Know YOU HAVE NO GOD DAMN SAY... and besides all that I Was NOT hired as weekend Help so its not like the doctor restricted me from my Normal duties. Then tomake itall worse her dumb ass sits in the office andacts like a highschool drama queen with her Butt Buddy (one of the other nurses) Joking and carrying on about my doctors excuse. Um I'm sorry but How fucking unprofessional can this over 30 year old woman be? I want to slap this bitch silly ... and thats being nice.
Then with all this being said my coworker's certification lapsted so untilthe bossgot something from the company that handles CNA certifications I was ALL BY MYSELF WITH NO HELP. I was forced 3 days of this week to handle the entire patient load ... No matter how long it took or how much i endangered myself by trying to lift and bathe patients that needed another CNA. I seriously hate this lady right now

oh that totally sux. im sorry. i work direct care with behavioral health and they always try to get me to work on my days off. I say no i need my sleep or just don't answer the calls. i am starting my CNA classes in a week and a half, it'll take 6 weeks but i don't think im gonna work as one til after the baby is born. it's a lot of hard work. so, kudos to you! good luck. i hope you get everything worked out. 

yeah, I'm in the process of writing a list of all the garbage my boss has been doing to me. I think a lot of it is shes racist and shes singling me out for being pregnant. I plan to call her boss and have a discussion with her because no matter how many times I've talked to my boss she doesn't change. And counting down till maturnity leave!!!
