re: inducing labor yourself

Once again...you are dumb for trying to get a baby out that isn't even full term.

Any responsible mother would be trying to do everything to NOT have a preterm baby...but here you are trying to get tips on how to have a premature possible NICU baby.

Really?

Do you realize how many mothers would have done ANYTHING to keep their baby from coming out early? Instead you are trying to force that baby out.

Just because you are off of bed rest and contracting doesn't mean baby is ready to come. You really want to risk possibly having a sick baby? what in the world is so smurfing important that you can't let her bake more?

And just because they won't stop you from going into labor doesn't mean that having a baby at 35 weeks is a good idea, especially if you don't have to.

I mean seriously! Try thinking about the effin baby and all the potential problems a preemie can have. Stop thinking about yourself and act like a mother!

Why don't you drink some water pop in a movie and relax and let your body do it's thing.

Uh, seriously? Just because they won't stop it now doesn't mean it's fine to self-induce. I'm so glad I was never that selfish when I was pregnant.

hun alot of these answers arent any helpful, but i had my daughter at 35 weeks and she was perfect and had my son at 39 weeks and was perfect, now my doc says im 35 weeks now and if i go into labor hes not stopping it. just do alot of walking i drank 2 bottles of castor oil and never worked, this time a=i acctually want to try and wait as long as i can, i have a yr old and a 11 month old and this one will be here just as our son turns 1 next month. but try walking not only does it help induce it but it will help you in haiving the baby come out. nothing worked for me though they just came when they felt like it. sorry for the rude answers.

I'm not going to be mean but my doctor wanted to have me induced at my 36 week appointment and I begged him not too. I wanted her to bake a little longer. I didn't realize that your only in the first few weeks, I thought you were farther along. Just let nature take it's course. If I would've induced labor on my own, it would've been bad because I had to be induced and ended up having a c-section. Trust me, you'll be holding your baby before you know it.

Thanks for those who did help me :

I didnt do the castor oil but I did do the pressure points and omg within mins of it i could really feel the contractions and then about 2 hrs later we were going back to the hosptial. While I was home I bounced on a yoga ball. labor was a quick 5 hrs once I was admitted and they had to break my water.

and those who where rude as hell for no reason.. my baby boy was born last night heathly and weight in 7lbs 9oz so F all of you who chewed my head off for no reason when I want some help. Oh and NO NICU for us so guess my doctors were right to send me home and HELP my labor along!!!
