I quit smoking with my first two as soon as I found out. I started smoking when I was really young.. After all it was the cool thing to do. LOL I wish I would have never wanted to be cool. My grandma smoked with all three of her kids, and her mother did with her. My mother, aunt and uncle are all perfectly fine except for hating each other, but I don't think that has anything to do with her smoking. This pregnancy was extremely unexpected and didn't have the best financial timing. I have seen two doctors and I never lie and let them know I still smoke. I wouldn't want to lie and risk hurting myself or the baby over a stupid lie. They said the same thing, if you are in a stressful situation or just stress alot and you are a smoker, your body will handle it worse if you just quit. I have maybe two whole cigarettes a day. Thats a combination of me lighting one taking a couple of drags and putting it out. I also brush my teeth like its going out of style because I really can't stand the taste or smell anymore but my body is just used to the nicotine.

Don't listen to these women on here who don't even go outside when it's an Ozone alert day because it will give you baby seven heads... There are always going to be people who say, you are hurting your baby and you don't care bla bla bla. Not everyone has it easy and sometimes a cigarette just makes life a little more bearable. I wish I could quit like I did with my first two, but my life isn't as easy going as it was then....

I hope everything turns out for the best. Just shake off the haters..... Because as self righteous as they seem, they probably sacrifice small animals in their yards or something...

Trust me Mrs. Linda you are not stronger than any of us. I will admit I haven't quit becuase I really don't want to, but I have made major cutbacks and my doctor isn't concerned, neither am I because I know how stronger my unborn child is.

As well as you are not going through our pregnacies, you are not talking to our doctors. You have no idea what we are going through so don't you dare try to say you are stronger than any of us here.

Also, you're spelling is horrible...perhaps before you come in here bitching up us and our bad habits, you should try to fix yours...because bad spelling isn't addictive.

Why dont you stop bitching about how people live their lives. Its not your life, move on. Its someones decision to start or stop smoking. Its not your job to come in here preaching to her that she needs to stop smoking. If she wants to she will, if shedoesnt, she wont. Deal with it, and if you dont like her decision to smoke oh well. quitting is not easy... im not a smoker but my mom was and i was with her through out the entire time she was trying to quit.....

dont listen to mrs linda or w/e her name is.. its your decison and your not a bad mother for it... just try going from like 5 cigs one day to 4 the next then 3 and 2 and then1 then maybe 1/2 and then none if that makes any sense at all!!but if your doc said it was fine for you to smoke a couple a day and dont stress yourself about it...some people just cant quit.. we are human and we make mistakes but learn from them...so get off their backs and quit bashing them b/c they smoke!!! atleast they are TRYING and TRYING is SOMETHING am i right or am i right....!!!


Mrs linda think back to how many things you have tried to do but couldnt b/c it was hard and it doesnt necessarily have to pertain to smoking... and just think before you bash someone for their imperfections !!! would you want someone bashing you?? nobody is perfect not even you..... so quit posting unless you have encouraging words and if this post bothers you that much ignore it DUH!!! and im not trying to be mean to you just being honest!!
